He'll start Bonner for the first 3 games just to get a feel for the series, tbh.
Do you think the spurs will be successful starting him against gsw?
I don't but pop will probably lose the first two games of a playoff series figuring it out.

I think Timmy/Tiago matches up ok against Green/Bogut tbh, neither of them are a danger to take our bigs off the dribble. If they put Barnes or Iguodala at the 4 then we'll struggle to keep Tiago on the floor with Tim.
Last time SA faced them, they won with Bonner starting.
Said that, Parker had a huge game (yeah, we miss that)and SA shut Curry down.
Yeah, I don't think starting Splitter makes sense against them, unless they start Lee. But I think that GS should be way more worried about SA. SA simply matches them well. SA has 2 elite perimeter defenders to put on their best offensive weapons and they don't have 1 single BIG that could go off offensively against SA.
Green will eat tiago up. Splitter got abused by Blair and green comes from a similar blue collar background
Splitter was great vs. the Warriors in the 2013 playoffs, and he'll have to play big minutes at C and replace Duncan if the Spurs get Golden State with Bogut in the playoffs..
Thankfully, there's virtually no chance that Bogut will play in a potential series that far into the playoffs(has only played 48% of possible games in the past 4 years)..
People obsess too much with starting line ups.. most of the game tim and splitter arent even together on the court
Splitter has done well vs GSW, including that one game he had the buzzer beater winning tip in
