Still following, I see.
That's weird.
apa's thread is so boring it's getting completely derailed by non-Spurs related basketball.

Still following, I see.
That's weird.
After Kobe's injury, Silver/Kerr should choose this guy, it will be nice to watch the Splash Bros in the All Star game
Well, I don't focus on Leonard, because could be him or Tim or Manu, Danny, Patty, anyone of them... But the Spurs offense of last playoffs two series would have worked with a player taking + 20 attempts per game?
When the Big 3 guys were the most dominant players in the league, sure, they could play that way but now, the effective team oriented offense of last year is not sustainable with Tony's shooting numbers.
Sadly, one of the reason of that "beautiful basketball" in the Finals, was Tony's injury that limited him and allowed to see a more distributed offense than Parker's centric offense
Yeah you are right on that, Parker has not been good this year overall and I want him to play alot better. I agree on Kawhi as well with what you said. Gino running PG at the end of the game is a disaster alot of times though, he will do some silly turnover when he is put in that role or be too gassed and shoot some horrible shots! Mills I agree on but at this point in his career I don't want to see Gino get too much time at the PG late in games sides in special situations. As long as we win though, agreed.
this .. it is just ridiculous
OP destroyed by facts...
Definition of a player fan: Someone who watches his favorite team play and actively roots against one of his own in hopes that his own personal favorite will have better stats that game.
Parker has good numbers, and OP starts a thread about what a nice guy/glue guy Patty Mills is! Hilarious.
It's a good start, make threads about players who never get enough credit for their good things instead of making hate threads.
All these years our attention has been focused on the Big 3 -and for good reasons obviously-, but it's time to show love to the "other guys".
Against Bucks if Tony plays good I want a thread about Green's blocks or Tiago's screens, and the next time another about Boris' playmaker skills...
Like I said before, Patty tries to build a good locker room climate and those things are underrated, it was very nice to have an opportunity to talk about that.
That's why I expect more Patty/Danny/Boris/Tiago/Cory, every appreciation thread OP -and other guys- can think of, all here on ST, the next time that Tony has a good game.
I've been a big fan over the years of Bowen, Barry, Horry, Hill, etc., and am now a huge fan of Mills, Cojo, Green, Kawhi, Splitter, Boris, etc...
Again: Definition of a player fan: Someone who watches his favorite team play and actively roots against one of his own in hopes that his own personal favorite will have better stats that game.
Good for you! So a thread about Patty's camaraderie can't bother you...
Like I said, I want a lot more of these threads the next time Tony has a good game.
I don't think you see the whole picture. The OP tried to post that Parker was a ballhog in the third quarter, was proven wrong by another poster, and then, disappointed that he couldn't say anything bad about Parker, posted, after a mediocre gane by Mills, a thread about Mills
being a good teammate, which everyone knows is the case. It's just a transparent thread to avoid saying Kawhi & Tony played well together and got the win.
I stopped to analyze posters try to do or their intentions a long time ago. I read what I like read here, and just see the opportunity to talk about a player who doesn't get attention for his good things.
Objectively speaking, how good it can be if people take the opportunities to show love to other players when Tony plays good?

That's one of the most colorful and subjective charts I've ever seen on objectivity. It's pretty.
the infighting of Spurs fans in this thread
Nah...Spurs fans are a family, a dysfunctional family for sure, but a family after all.
IMO hater, skull-1 (banned), jars are all your accounts

This pretty much...
My beef with the OP is that the guy just doesn't get it. He puts "I hate player fans" under his name...which is basically telling me he hates himself. He watches Spurs' games with the intention of pulling against one of his own. Did TP do some over-dribbling last night? Yes...of course he did. Did TP have some nice drive and kick to wide open players? Of course he did. We're a much better team with TP playing well....and every Spurs fan should hope he gets it going again. The same with Manu and Kawhi.
What made the Spurs so great last year was you never knew who was going to lead the team in points that night. It could come from Timmy, Tony, Manu, Kawhi, Green, Mills,.... even Beli, Splitter, and Baynes led the team some nights.
Having Kawhi score 30 points every night (the OP is fapping to even the idea of this) is not the answer. His shots would increase...the ball would stop...and I would feel like I'm watching Kirby.
This is actually a pretty good description of what happens. Thanks.
How can you agree with what he said?
He said "we're a much better team with Enrique playing well", OF COURSE WE ARE. We're also a better team with Manu playing well, TD playing well, Kawhi playing well, we're better with any Spurs player playing well. The point here is that TP IS NOT PLAYING WELL and he's not injured, he's on decline. Also he's being overpaid this season and he will be overpaid probably next 2/3 seasons.
Plus, when tony is playing well it is at the expense of others...
Pretty much, he tooks more shots than he should..
Just look at third quarter against the lakers..Tony scored well but the spurs ended up losing the quarter..
coincidence? I think not.
Also I realize most people think kawhi is already the best player, the problem is that Tony doesn't think the same way...
Kawhi sucked offensively in the third quarter.
lol applesauce mainstream boxscore liar
Do you think waiving Tony right now would make the Spurs a better team?
