The guy is still only 32 and has been a dominant center in Europe for years. The guy had a bike wreck but from what I remember he was trying to get a deal with the Spurs and at the time they were sorta jerking him around. That said, its been a long time since and we frickin need a big center with some spine, esp in light of the Lakers new guy. I would like to see the Spurs try to bring him over and buy him out of whatever contract he has over there.
Sorry to break it to you but this guy has been nothing remotely close to dominant (more like dormant..) the last couple of years.
In the last Euroleague season he averaged 6.3 points and 5.2 rebounds per game while shooting a Biedrinsesque 42.1% from the free throw line. He can still bang some in the post and throw up some ugly hooks but he lost pretty much all of his athletic ability at this point.

Spurs own rights to a guy who never even gets a jersey number because x happened while he was not a spur. Glad the spurs learned from that experience.

Sure I am. Every position I have ever taken on this board says I am. I DO NOT want our prospects to with the front office on Twitter, and tell them to off. I want our prospects to recover from their respective knee surgeries on some Euro team's dime, and then come over and kick ass.
