He was the main reason why the spurs came back in the third.
amazing how he can influence the game at his age..
He came in the third quarter for Parker and the guy just started killing the bucks.
Man, it brings tears to my eyes..
I remember watching my first spurs game and Manu still had the long hair..
He hasn't lost an inch of compe iveness..The great thing about Manu is that even though he only scored 13 points tonight, he still contributed in other aspects..
One of my favorite spurs of all time.
Such a great teammate, too, tbh, I love seeing Duncan and Ginobili constantly encouraging teammates on the bench..
Started the game -16 in 3 mins tonight, turned it all around and finished +1...
He needs rest though, he had to play almost 30 mins tonight due to the general suckitude... Pop has to figure out the guard rotations and really try to find some rest for him and Tim.
Best solution would be to rest Tony again tbh..
He is truly an alltime favorite.
But honest to God if he goes 1 out of 2 on FTs, I'm breakin his nose.
Spurs only play 3 games in the next 10 days so the guys should be able to get some rest.
rest won't fix this for Tony, he needs to keep playing and find his rhythm imo
Dont think you get it bruh
They need to "rest" Tony
Agree. Tim and Manu deserve some rest but what if Beli comes back? Tonight Cory's defense was a good rotation option but Tony/Marco, they don't seem like the best defensive backcourt...
Like Scarface ending?![]()
I've been watching Manu career highlight videos on youtube from his rookie year to now and getting sad since it's all coming to an end for him. He's been so entertaining to watch I always look forward to seeing him play and what he can do. I can never get tired of watching him play. That's why it's so hard to watch him get older and not be as consistant (although he's never been consistant). I remember watching him as a rookie wondering who this young guy was that was turning the games around for us and making all of these spectacular plays. I know he makes bonehead plays but he's one of the few players too that can make something out of nothing. I'm going to miss having him around.
Manu was great, but Cory Josephs defense on Knight was the reason for the comeback ...
I think Manu Ginobili's presence on the floor and sheer compe iveness ignites the team. When he kicks it into gear, others have no choice but to follow, or they leave him hanging in the air with nobody to pass to. They KNOW he's going to try that risky pass, you can almost see everybody's adrenalin kick in. The guy is a catalyst. You put your hands up, cut harder, move without the ball. You have no choice, because the pass will be there, so you had BETTER be.
damn, OP just started watching spurs in 2005!
That was my reaction, too!!
I started watching the spurs in 2003...
Well getting Belinelli back will help some. Also, it's worth noting that we only play 3 games in the next 10 days, and then the all-star break isn't too long after that. Hopefully we can finish up this first half of the season strong, and then really get things going in the 2nd half.
Twice as long as average Thunderfan has been watching Meth City.
