You place more value on a near 30 scrub who made some shots a long time ago? Than the summer league mvp who just balled on our bertans, ljc-less summer squad, this summer?
The summer league MVP has been available to 29 NBA teams for nearly a month. He's still in the Dleague. So it appears that none of the 30 NBA teams are placing much value on that summer league performance.

Williams is 28, while Rice is 24, so it's not like comparing some decrepit corpse to a kid.

Because the fact is one guy is an old bum who most of the league cares less about. And the other guy is a young question mark who we've seen have an ability to make semi-relevant shots?
The most important fact. One that you of all people should appreciate.
What relevant NBA shots has Rice made?

Williams is a corpse. His career is over. He got passed for whatever reason, long ago. He is a bum. There's simply more savory prospects. Call me an agist, but 4 years matters. Especially in an end of bench player. They gotta have potential and time. And Williams simply has less time.

You're seriously gonna stand firm on the old scrub who has actually hit a three in the league being worth more than a kid who hasn't been given the fair shake? That's weak. Rice jr is williams, except one is getting the nod while the other should be. It's topsy turvy!

I haven't seen either williams or rice jr make an actual nba shot. I'll bet on the younger dude I saw fing wreck during summer league. I must be drunk.

Probably aren't looking at this 10-day as a prospect. Rather, they just want a body. Rice having more potential means little, and Williams having experience means a lot.

Would I rather see a prospect in garbage time? Yes. Wouldn't rather see one start in a real game, though.

Well, thanks for admitting you don't watch Spurs games. Williams made many shots against the Spurs.

Nba gms are concrete junkies just like chump and ex. The spurs are no different. They're all youth and potential ignoring blockheads. It is insane to defend the value of some scrubby nobody against what we've all seen glen rice jr do this summer. If you can't see that, you are blind.

He is a nobody. I don't pay attention to nobody's. I leave that to other nobody's. You argue like a nobody. You completely miss the point, because you are zero-ing in on nothing.

Bruce Bowen was older than Williams is now when he finally stuck in the NBA.

The Spurs have three players on their roster that are younger than Rice. The facts do not support your rant.

Get rice some experience. Why roster any body when you can roster somebody. Potential means more than experience. Anybody can get experience. Nobody's don't have potential.

So Glen Rice jr. is less than nobody by your definition.

    Why pay attention to him?

They of course support yours if you use them like a block head. They are adding a bum instead of a prospect. Use a fact that matters. Actually just agree. It's okay to knock the spurs. I swear the world won't end. It won't make you less of a fan. It actually means more.

He has more potential. He is younger. He has work that i'm actually familiar with.

    Potential means more than experience.
Nope. Spurs only care who plays well for the next nine days. Potential means nothing beyond that.

It is an indisputable fact that the Spurs have 3 players on their roster that are younger than Rice. It's also fact that 29 teams have passed on Rice since Washington waived him. Finally, it's a fact that Washington had him for two years and was unwilling to guarantee the remaining portion of a league minimum contract in order to keep him under team control.

    He has more potential.
How do you quantifiably support that?
    He is younger.
Birth date seems to be the sole criterion you use for player evaluation.
He has work that i'm actually familiar with.
Since you have never seen Williams play at all, this does not work in Rice's favor.

You can't gotcha me on this. You're defending a bum with a game only a nobody could love. Vs just agreeing that the spurs are in around by not picking up a dude that has clearly performed well against some slightly relevant form of spurs basketball.

Man, you are sidestepping the point. And I don't have the effort or time to sit here and debunk every pointless fact in tideous measure. The point is the spurs are filling a valuable roster spot with a corpse. While a real life player sits undiscovered. I really don't see the point in in around with unnecessary facts.

Whats the point in signing a player with no potential?
