Parker's defense has been so bad this year, practically negates his offense so yes. Holiday isn't a great defender but is miles ahead of TP, pretty equal scorers but Holiday's passing ability makes him a much better offensive player and it shows in ORPM, Holiday has a pretty good ORPM, Parker's is pretty bad as his scoring usually comes at the cost of his teammates. I'd love to see what a true passing PG could do with this offense.
Wes Matthews the fat playoff choker..not really sure where this Wes Matthews hype came from, tbh..
Bledsoe is really good, but you'll never build a winning team with a PG/SG hybrid that can't make jump shots..it doesn't work in the playoffs..
Matthews used to always kill the Spurs in the regular season the past few years, hasn't really done anything since Leonard/Green have improved to lock him and Batum down.
I used to like Matthews, tbh, but I don't understand this hype he has generated this year..
He's supposed to be a "lockdown" defender, but all of the Spurs' perimeter players ran through Portland in last year's series, it was a massacre..he's a good post player, but a post-playing SG in 2015 is essentially pointless..there's a reason you don't see too many of those players remaining..
It helped his reputation to have a good series against Harden, I suppose, but Harden was also terrible the year before as the #1 guy in the playoffs, too..
Had no idea Hassell was better than Bowen.
He wasn't
oh wait i see what you did there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's obviously working for them. In today's game, a perimeter player who can't shoot destroys his own team's offense if the defense has any clue.
rob in full meltdown mode.![]()
I just feel like stirring up.
I hope that but the confidence is an intangible, a key factor to success, it can turn decent players into winners.
Sadly, Klay's confidece is so high now and could change his loser mindset...
