Terrible defender, can't post up, can't create, can't pass, etc..

He does have a post-up game tho, and he's a decent defender, while also being a good rebounder. Plus bigs are overpaid nowadays anyway.

He does have a post-up game tho, and he's a decent defender, while also being a good rebounder. Plus bigs are overpaid nowadays anyway.

He's actually one of the worst defensive bigs in the league, statistically IIRC..

His post game sucks, from what I've seen, and 65% of his shot attempts are mid-range jump shots..

I'd like to see stats for that; he can't defend centers but he seems capable of handling PFs. He's shown some good poise in the post last year, but I don't watch the Lakers much these days to see if it's improved.

This depleted Laker team vs Chicago with Rose , Noah, Gasol really worked hard for a win never say die..knowing there's no Kobe. Wish the Spurs play like this if Duncan sits later in the season games to rest.

Well, to be fair, he plays for one of the worst coaches in the NBA on a team full of ty defensive players, so maybe he would look better on a more organized and competent defensive team..he's too short to be a good defensive C, though..
