Clippers should be pissed they lost but they are in midst of 4 games in 5 nights all in different cities
Really would like to see LAC, POR, HOU, and DAL keep sliding, already have only a few games buffer ahead of the Spurs anyway.
I think we'll win big tonight!
Hey, glad to hear your prediction, but I thought you were supposed to be making the threads, since you are like "All wins to Zero" when you start the threads! I like Ace 3g's threads just fine, but man, you bring us luck, so make sure that you are here on the site for us tonight, okay?
don't think I'm supers ious, though.![]()
yeah, Spurs and UFC tonight and then Superbowl tomorrow. My liver gon' get it this weekend.

Spurs need a win tonight. They've had some days off before this game and after they don't play until next Wedneaday. Beat these sacks of .
Absolutely huge game. Chance to move back into 6th, move within .5 games of 5th, and it would also pull us within 1.5 of Portland for 4th! Just 2 full games back of Houston for 3rd, and we aren't even at the ASB yet!
Also, tonight would be win #998 for Pop. The Spurs have to win the remaining three home games before the RRT for #1000 to come at home.
(for the regular season that is)
What does GS have that the Clips don't? Clips are just as talented on paper. Off topic but just curious.
Good topic, though, and good question.
I think that Steph Curry is one of those 'once-in-a-generation' shooters, and I think that Kerr is a better coach than Doc Rivers.
I know that we have beat the Warriors before, etc., but Curry has really worked on his game and has really improved his skills (other than 3 point shooting - which he was always great at) in the last couple of years. Plus, Curry is light-years smarter than CP3, imo. His dedication to his craft and the fact that they have their own 'big three' who are younger and more athletic than our big three is of major concern to me. Plus, Klay has had a major improvement this season as well.
I don't honestly worry about the Clips as much (not saying that they might not beat us tonight - I hope we win but they will be coming in highly motivated after their loss last night) as I do GS, because I am convinced that we can beat the Clips in a 7 game series. I WANT to beat GS in a series, and I think that we CAN, but I think it is going to be one big damn mountain to climb this season.
The Clippers lack depth compared the Dubs. GS brings Iggy, Speights, Lee, and Livingston off the bench. The Clips have Crawford, Hawes, Hedo, and Big Baby. That's a huge difference, IMO. Plus, Matt Barnes is a below average NBA player and he's the only real SF on their roster.
Remember division winners are seeded no worse than fourth. Portland would have it even if San Antonio has a better record...but they would also lose home court to the Spurs.![]()
A head coach for one.
A decent small forward and a deeper/better bench mainly...
