i honestly have no idea what the happened at the end

everyone at my party was in shock that Hoodie didn't call a TO, then that playcall was so bad. un ingreal. when the cheaters were celebrating, it was like someone took a corn ridden right in the middle of the party. people just disbanded and called it a night.

honestly one of the worst SBs I've seen. Brady winning MVP despite another dink n dunkpalooza. even the commercials were garbage except for maybe two of them. there was even a promo for a show called the Slap, about some got kid getting slapped. I think the apocalypse is near.
    Of course

i thought that call was fine. they probably instructed Wilson to just drop back and sling it right away... if its not there, throw it away. they had 6 seconds, which is enough time to run a quick one like that.

but on the goal line with the championship hanging in the balance?
if he ran the ball 3 times and they got stuffed, i doubt they'd be criticized at all
I'm sorry my nig, that was not the right call. I'm not playing back to the future here now that I know the results. I had several Seahawk co doctor"fans" here (One of them called their fiance and said my Eagles lost ) and right before that last play they were laughing at me (I was rooting for Seahawks to lose) and I told them right before that play "Are they passing it?!!! This is going to be an interception dude"

They were like bruh how did u know? I was like it was pretty obvious that was a horrendous call. In fact, even in Madden thats almost always an interception from that yardage

Oh, yeah I wasnt jumping up and down over that call, but I thought it was a bit off.

Anyway, this is the hardest part of the sports season for me, not only is it over but my Lakers and Broncos are like 10000000000000 years away from being contenders . God damn I wish I could be a bandwagoner.

Like 80% of the gots that were screaming Seahawk nation last year on my FB were chanting NE!!

Wow... Bevell is a ing got, letting Carroll take the blame for him and then trying to scapegoat the wide receiver for his terrible playcall. This guy has no business coaching in the NFL.
That's exactly what we all saw, because thats what really happened. Not olny stupid but blind. Lockette should have had the ball.

Just think here are a bunch of guys criticizing a young QB making his second SB start before 27 years of age. No word of his great pass last week to get here. No word of his SB win. No word of all the things he's done never seen before. And if he had of completed that pass.......crickets.

    Hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tbh, I have nothing against Wilson. I'm not sure if he's the real deal or not yet, though I will say he has flashes of brilliance. But that Seahawks team is so amazing that Kyle Orton could have won a superbowl with them. They're just that good, its really not a diss.

depends on your definition of "real deal"

i think he's shown he's a franchise QB (in that Seattle isn't going to be looking to replace him anytime soon). don't mistake franchise QB for elite QB. guys like Flacco, Eli, Ryan are all franchise QB's but none are elite.

Avante is always trying to prop wilson into the elite class, which i don't buy

They were trying to make Wilson a hero. Media would wet their pants if that would`ve been completed. Lynch wouldnt create so much hype and reneview.

Its obvious tbh, and is one of the main reasons why so many people hate on him. Most of his tds has been of the statpad variety.

I just heard Carolls explanation, it makes sense. They had 1 time out left and with less than a minute left, they felt a Lynch run forces you to use the time out if he doesnt score and now you're in a huge pickle.

Personally, I disagree with his view, even if I didnt know the result. You go with a Lynch run, timeout, a Wilson draw for the TD, and a pass on 4th with time running out.

"What were Seahawks thinking on Russell Wilson's goal-line pass? Explanations make little sense:

    ...

It was the ultimate in a coaching staff out-thinking itself. Carroll is known for being clever – remember the brilliant fake field goal in the NFC championship? – and yet here he was far too clever. Hand the ball to Lynch. Win the le.

The pass to end the first half with 6 seconds left was also risky.
If that ball gets batted up, bobbled, or even worse, intercepted, we question why did he not take the easy FG.
That last play of the half took 4 out 6 seconds. I assumed they thought they could get a receiver open quickly and they did. And that Pete would get a time review of the play if the time expired (provided it failed).

But to throw a short pick slant into a crowded goal line? How about throw the ball up to a corner if their 6'4" WR is single covered if your are so inclined to throw it? Then you can try Lynch twice with a time out. Or whatever.

If a team is going to lose from less than 1 yard out, lose it with your real horse on offense. Then people will talk about the incredible NE goal line stand against a guy that had been pounding them unmercifully.

Big history was made last night.

If the Pats wanted to go with that thinking, calling a time out after the Lynch run to the goal line, and then let the Seahawks score was the way to go. The NE fans I was around were screaming for this.

Add to the fact the Pats were one of the worst teams all year in 3rd and 4th and 1 it was dumb no excuse logic, formations or thought process justifies that call. I think Lockette didnt fight h ard enough for his spot but I blame Wilson second after the OC and Pete c. No way Parcells (who i think is a bit overrated) loses that game like that. No way does Brady lose that game like that.

Pretty much, tbh..save for the Panthers-Cardinals and Panthers-Seahawks..all game ended in controversy..
Cardinals were up Vs Panthers when Lindley went full re , The Punter went shank crazy, and Ted Ginn coughed up a punt in his own redzone.

As a Cardinals fan, while not controversial, watching the skeleton of a 11-2 team go 0-4 in last four games culminating in that wretched playoff performance was definitely heartbreaking.

of his 33 TD's his season (passing and rushing, including postseason), 26 of them were from outside the 5
