A 24-year-old Ocala man was charged with attempting to cir cise his nephew with a kitchen knife, police said. Police received a call that a 20-month-old boy had been cut, Sgt. Michael Sommer said, and by the time officers arrived the boy's father had taken him to the hospital. From interviewing people at the scene, officers determined that Larry Leroy Floyd, the boy's uncle, had allegedly tried to cir cise him with a kitchen knife. Floyd was arrested and charged with domestic aggravated battery, Sommer said.The boy's condition was not available.
