How can you not hate him? Especially the defense and Lynch..

Lynch plays a position where you're virtually guaranteed to take years off your life, especially with his style of running..all the punishment he takes, yet he receives little credit(in relation to Wilson), and the team that he carried is going to pay the game-manager QB, rather than paying him..

Plus the only real receiving threat they had who stayed healthy was pushed out the door because he cucked their game manager QB (your av reminded me of that)

Cornball Wilson running all of the real play makers they have to other teams

they'll be completely irrelevant if Wilson actually walked after next year. at the start of the 2016 season they'd have no QB and a RB on the wrong side of 30. michael bennet would also be up there in age and their d-line already isn't as strong as it was just a year ago

After Wilson gets a huge contract the wheels will start falling off, especially if Lynch is gone.

do you realize how many of their starters were still playing for peanuts this year?

Michael Bennet, KJ Wright, Bobby Wagner, Bruce Irvin, Richard Sherman, Byron Maxwell, Jeremy Lane (if you count nickel back as a starter), Russell Wilson, Doug Baldwin, Luke Wilson, Jermaine Kearse, their 3 offensive linemen not named Unger and Okung, Tony McDaniel, Kevin Williams.... ALL making 4 million or less (some of them way less)

it's not just about Russell Wilson . but who are you going to invest in? a RB who will be 30 after his contract expires, or a franchise quarterback? be real.

    "franchise quarterback"

I probably wouldn't invest in either one, my priority would be locking up the defensive players I wanted to keep since there's no way I'm keeping all of them and I need to start worrying about drafting replacements.

unless you're confusing the terms franchise quarterback and elite quarterback, it's not really lol-worthy

i dont think the seahawks are going to be actively looking for a QB replacement anytime soon. and by those standards, he's a franchise qb. and if you're going to lock up all those guys, bank on an aging RB, and start your QB position from scratch... you'll just end up like the current Rams or Cardianls sans Palmer

How so? T-Jack could hand it off to Lynch for 90% of the game like Struggle does and they wouldn't have to make him the highest-paid quarterback in football.

the last time Tarvaris Jackson had a starting season for Seattle, he threw 14 TD's, 13 INT's and had a QB rating of 79... and they went 7-8 in his 15 games. And that was with Lynch and Fitzgerald

Translation: the defense won games in spite of T-Jack just like with Struggle. If that was the "Legion of Boom" era defense, their record would have been even better than 7-8.

Maybe if he had better passing numbers than a 79 rating, 14 TD's in 15 games, they'd have more wins

Amazing how you play that card for T-Jack, but with Struggle, it's not enough weapons in the passing game, the O-line sucks, they're a run-first team, etc. etc.

yeah because wilson still puts up good efficiency numbers. his 95 qb rating this year was the lowest of his career

tjack put up a 79 with the same cast and they struggled

In 35% of his wins, he's been inefficient (in terms of total QBR) and bailed out by the defense - and that's just looking at the wins.

What an great young talent this guy is, anyone not seeing that has never paid any attention to other third years QB's. For him to be doing what he has with that limited amount of experience is amazing. There is a reason he's put up the most impressive numbers we've ever seen from a third year QB, he's simply great!

He might be losing a SB by a foot but look at all those like Andrew Luck, Jim Kelly, Warren Moon, Dan Marino, Dan Fouts, Fran Tarkenton who never won a SB in their careers, while this guy was going fo another win, and he's only 26 years old.

We can sure tell who understands the game over this and who doesn't. Watch the $$$$$ this guy is about to get, that's because those who know the game know he's worth it.

Since he's came in the league, he's had more 4th quarter game winning drives than anyone else. And, more SB appearances.

His comp %, QBR, td/int ratio, wins, passer rating superior to Andrew Luck, and he doesn't have a goofy looking head.

He's too short to ever be an all-time great NFL Quarterback.

Given your knowledge of football history, I'm surprised you're backing him as much as you are, when no quarterback under 6' has excelled in the Super Bowl era.

I admire Wilson's pound-for-pound talent, but he's more on the level of Jeff Garcia than the players you mentioned.

When the 6-5 Usian Bolt talked about becoming a 100m sprinter instead of a 200 guy, alL us track geeks....he's too tall. He won't have the start, take too long to uwind. WRONG~~~~~ he is now considered the fastest human to ever live. His records are sooooooooooooooooo far out they may never be broken.

There will always be exceptions to the rule.

Look at what Fran Tarkenton and Drew Brees have done in their careers. Coming out of MVS the book on Jerry Rice was....too slow. How'd that go?

After three seaons RW stands alone when it comes to wins, he is...number one! His passer rating....number 1. His playoff success....number 1. As a rookie nobody ever threw for more td's.

He turns around hands the ball to Lynch he'd be the only QB in history to win two SB's in their first three seasons. Nobody really compares to him, if we compare their three year careers.

Give him a Darren Sproles, Calvin Johnson, The Gronk...type players and he's putting up the gaudy numbers those with threats like that put up.

When he left the NCAA. he was the all time pasng eficency leader, yep...number 1.....again.
