    "Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard was one of the most controversial omissions from the 2015 NBA All-Star Game roster. Lillard has expressed how upset he is with his exclusion, and Blazers fan Josh Thatcher is right there with him—because he has to now eat a shoe.
    After betting on Twitter that he would eat a shoe if Lillard was left off the team, Thatcher stayed true to his word. He purchased a child's shoe from a Goodwill thrift store, boiled it (for sterilization?), blended it and ate it."
