Professor Suspended After College Deems His Daughter’s ‘Game Of Thrones’ T-Shirt A Threat
Francis Schmidt is an art and animation professor at Bergen Community College in New Jersey. He likes cats, fantasy stories and social media. And he likes to post pictures relating to cats and fantasy stories to his Google+ page. One of these pictures shows his young daughter doing yoga in a Game of Thrones T-shirt. The shirt includes a quote from the popular HBO show: “I will take what is mine with fire & blood.”
Not long after he posted this picture, he received an email from Jim Miller, the school’s human resources director, instructing Schmidt to meet with him immediately due to a “threatening email.”
When Schmidt arrived for the meeting, they were joined by two other administrators and a security official — and the threatening email turned out to be an automatic notification one of the school’s deans received shortly after Schmidt posted the picture. This security official claimed that
the word “fire” in the shirt’s tagline could actually be a reference to an “AK-47.”typical fatass losers working in "security"
Although Schmidt Googled the phrase “I will take what is mine with fire & blood” during this meeting to prove that it was a line from a television show and not a reference to an assault rifle, he received an email later that week informing him that he would be placed on leave without pay until he could be cleared by a psychiatrist to return to campus.

I am much more SHOCKED AND AWED by a little girl displaying, with hips thrust invitingly upward, "fire and blood" across her pussy.

The Supreme Court has declined to overturn a lower court’s ruling that an insurance company was within bounds when it fired a breastfeeding mother.
The woman’s suit was dismissed by the Eighth Circuit Court on the grounds that firing a woman for breastfeeding isn’t sexist because men can lactate, too.

America is fkn crazy...?
And you wrote the above as sarcasm.
Christ...
struck me weird, too.
odd too that he hasn't deleted his own post.
I was going to say people are liable to take it the wrong way, but that's not quite right: bouton's problem is people understanding the apparent meaning of what he said.

Upskirt photos of teen ruled legal in Oregon
http://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/201...gal-in-oregon/A judge has ruled that a 61-year-old Oregon man did nothing illegal when he crouched in a store aisle and snapped photos up a 13-year-old’s skirt.
It was lewd and appalling but not outlawed, Judge Eric Butterfield said. “From a legal point of view, which unfortunately today is my job to enforce, he didn’t do anything wrong,” the judge said Thursday.
Patrick Buono of Portland didn’t dispute using his cellphone to take the photos on Jan. 3 at the store, The Oregonian newspaper reported.
His defense lawyer, Mark Lawrence, argued that he hadn’t violated laws against invasion of privacy and attempted encouraging child sexual abuse — a child pornography count.
The privacy law bans clandestine photography in bathrooms, locker rooms, dressing rooms and tanning booths, but the Target aisle was plainly public, Lawrence said.
Upskirt sightings can occur by happenstance, he said, citing a famous photo of Marilyn Monroe with her dress flying up. And that could happen to someone riding up an escalator, taking a spill or exiting a car, he said. “These things are not only seen but video-recorded,” Lawrence said. “It’s in bent on us as citizens to cover up whatever we don’t want filmed in public places.”
