that's not a bad idea tbh
Instead of this, I would like to see DeAndre Jordan, Dwight Howard, McGee, Errors in the compe ion.
Would be an epic 30 mins for Shaqtin a fool![]()

Like any of those guys would go out and embarrass themselves in front of Madison Square Garden and a national TV audience.
OK, Howard probably wouldn't give any s per par, but the rest would stick to their monkeyballing.
Shooting 38% on the season despite playing with a Groin injury for pretty the whole year isn't bad. I hope Macro can get a repeat.
Drummand, Mason Plumlee, Howard, DeAndre Jordan and Bogut in a free throws compe ion would be an interesting stuff... Shaq could host the event and the winner's price: teams not allowed hack the Shaq on him untill the end of the season!!
They should make a Kobe Bryant version of this contest where you take turnaround 18-footers with two defenders in your face.
They should add a "How Many 3 PT Shot's Can You Miss" contest to All Star Weekend, and sign Bonner up. We'll bring home at least 1 trophy this ASB.
Bonner put up 20 in the Final round the last time he participated, which is nothing to shake a stick at. He probably would've won if Kyrie hadn't caught fire.
He probably hasn't made 20 3's in game since his last appearance.
Bonner knocked down 16 threes between the 2013 ASG and end of the season, and 15 more in the first three rounds of the 2013 playoffs.
But keep trying.
Cool. How many games did we win because of him shooting efficiently from 2013 until now?
getting all huffy and puffy over Matt Bonner
Well, there really is no way to answer your arbitrary question...but we've gone to the Finals twice and won a championship with him being a standard part of the rotation, so I'd say we haven't done too bad.
haters gonna hate
Really? You would consider Bonner a standard in the rotation in last year's championship run?
Started games 5 and 6 vs OC, both wins.
He was basically the 10th man but he deserves some credit.
He (Bonner) stretched the floor against Ibaka, but we're discussing my comment about his role as a 3 point specialist that never makes threes..
Yes, those were wins, but I am not gonna sit here at credit Bonner for them any further than he forced Brooks to make a chess move over the matchup..
Bonner averaged 6 minutes and shot 33% on 4/12 behind the arc last year in the playoffs..pretty crappy for a one dimensional guy.
Danny and Marco should be there given Finals' performance + being defending 3pt champ. And maybe we can send Parker to it too to market his newfound skill (though it takes him like 3 seconds to release each shot). Don't see TP in the skills compe ion this year he perennially goes through the motions in.
asks question. Gets schooled. Tries to cover it up![]()
How so? The original comment I made was clearly just talking about Bonner, not trying to get into a statistical debate at all.
Sigh Korver shooting 53.2% and even generated all star buzz this year on a team with a system similar to the Spurs. What could have been...
Although the Spurs did win it all last year, hard to say what would have happened if Korver was on the team? Maybe they lose, maybe they beat the Heat even more badly.
Yes, but don't forget to add the 3 open teammates the shooter is required to ignore.
Is anyone else watching this "fashion show?" This is the dumbest All-Star weekend event I can recall.. Not only is it a terrible idea, but it's awkward as listening to these "judges" try to talk about these guys' wardrobes. Horrendous call by whoever made it.
