You're blaming the messenger. The hordes are the consumers of media, the media is just operating on supply/demand principles.
No, I'm not. This rests squarely on her parents. They were warned repeatedly & at length thru the decades, mainly by law enforcement, and each time Media would side 'em and toss the race card on their behalf & those concerned, mainly law enforcement would back off immediately.

What happened here is akin to what happened with MLB and sterioids. Media knew, but, ran interference for them (MLB & players) because they were making money hand over fist. They didn't a about the game. Now it's record book is in flames.
Now to the Browns...Media didn't give a when they'd run into the law time & again. They'd just run their counterattack until the smoke cleared and the Browns could give them more print to print. Now two of the three are DOA & Media is long gone.

My cousin smashed a mutual friends baby mama back before they were together, and we knew it always ate him (mutual friend) up inside..they were both barred out (probably at least 5) one night driving home from the bar, and that fool brought it up to him and starts crying and ..his driving started getting worse as he got more upset about it, and my cousin asked him to stop and let him off, but he wouldn't stop.
My cousin ends up doing the tuck and roll at like 35 miles an hour, and shows up like 3 hours late all ed up..bloody and ripped up..we found out the next morning that other guy ended up crashing his truck into another vehicle and killed someone. He had no memory of the actions that led to him being in the hospital. Whats more ed up is he got off free because his ass had a prescription.

You forever rant about how the media let this or that go, and the other side of that coin, the point you're not making but hoping someone gets, is that Kobe didn't get let off that easily. People make their own stories. Do you think any news outlet is going to chase balanced reporting even if it doesn't sell copy? Do your favorite teams chase balanced scoring and assists even if they don't sell tickets? No.
