i give the edge to Papa John's. Domino's has improved their lately though. , looks like that Spurs50 promo doesn't work here.

i can't even remember the last time I had Pizza Hut. my favorite of the corporate joints is Papa Murphy's, that is trouble for me.

Atleast in California, this isn't a compe ion. I've never had bad Papa Johns, even though they've declined over the past 5 years while becoming more nationally popular.

Dominoes improvement since the recipe change 2+ years ago puts them on even level with Pizza Hut

When I compare Pizza Hut and Dominoes

Hut: consistent pan pizza. Nothing spectacular but not bad either. Difficult to fk up their simple recipe

Dominoes: sometimes really good but other/most times just very greasy.

I definitely prefer Hut leftovers. Dominoes gives me major diminishing results. After the 3rd slice it's kinda meh. Starts tasting like a big greasy mush

Opened up a new place near me awhile back called Jimmy & Joe's. HUGE custom slices and they don't sit in a heater waiting for you to come in to order it either. Takes about 10 minutes.
No beer, but calzones, salad and sports on the tv. Good and they deliver.

They built a new Pizza Hut not too far from me and we went there about a week ago. First time I'd been in forever. But I guess they updated their menu significantly with some specialty pizzas, sandwiches and some other stuff. Anyway, had some kind of nacho waffle fries that were damn good and a cheese pizza (with stuffed crust) which was also decent and in line with PJ and Dominoes. Easily a 1500 calorie dinner. But I had unsweet tea also.
