More scorers at that position would expose his defense even more.
I actually think he is better off playing the 4 spot.

He's too slow footed to play PF and he can't defend the rim at all so he's no good at the 5 either from what I've read
Put this downstairs.
Dude is a tomato can.
I think some of his defensive struggles could be minimized in San Antonio. According to that real +/- list, Green is 7th and Leonard is 3rd in positional rankings. Splitter, who is having a down season, ranked as the 6th best center defensively last season. I'd rather go after him as a consolation prize if and when we strike out on Gasol & L.A. as opposed to trading for him, though.
yo team clown!
Methlahoma never disappears ffs.
Kanter vs DEN: 20pts, 12rebs, 3ast, 1stl, 8/12, +36
Kanter is a pretty good player and would have fit in decently here. Was worth the price. But this WAS against Denver and without Durant. May well be Kanter's best game as a Thunder this season.
Plus it's always "the first few games in a new uniform" syndrome. Josh Smith played great his first game as a Rocket, but hasn't been that good consistently since it seems.
Kanter is playing some great basketball right now. OKC did the best at the trade deadline by getting rid of Perkins' awful contract and getting a decent backup point guard in Augustine for Jackson who didn't even want to be there. Even though they are the 8 seed I see them as the favorites out of Western conference especially with Westbrook playing at an MVP level.
agree except the part they are favorites in the West. With Durant's condition and question marks they can't seriously be favorites. But they are contenders.
Spursfans need to pray to all the Gods out there that OKC remains in #8 seed so they can face the Warriors. Actually ALL NBA FANS need to pray for this.
