The Los Angeles Lakers, who have also coveted Dragic for some time, are likewise presumed to be intent on testing the Suns' resolve when it comes to their Slovenian point guard, since sources say L.A. plans to chase Dragic with an expected max four-year contract offer this summer valued at an estimated $80 million

Makes sense. I dont see why they would. I just dony get their thinking. Signing the Morris brother with the cap going up doesnt look bad and he has improved. So I was wrong about that (so far) but signing Thomas, bringing back Bledsoe AND drafting Ennis is puzzling to me still.

Should Kobe still retire if they sign Dragic to a max deal?

Magic will tweet showtime is back great job, Mitch!

And then when he gets hurt and we suck ...Jim Buss is a idiot!!! Byron has no talent to work with ...

My childhood sports hero ...smh. Outside of some shrewd business deals it's been all downhill for my boy since the back to back.

It's just a ploy to rub our faces in the (Nash trade) makings. Every single time these mother ers are up against here they make sure they drag that out and from all manner of fresh angles, but, the interview always ends up with the sign off that they have that pick coming.

I dunno my nig, when there were reports that Kobe was to get 48.5 million, Laker fans said its all a strategy yada yada yada. I seriously think Jim Buss is taking money from other owners to destroy the Lakers franchise. It reminds me of that King in the lord of the rings films that was brain washed to weaken the human army.

This is probably what all Laker FO meetings look like with Jim Buss

Never forget that it was Jim Buss who insisted on drafting Andrew Bynum. It was Jim Buss, alone who refused to obey Bryant to run Andrew Bynum off. Without Jim Buss, bub, we're light 2.

& when the were there ever reports about the $48.5? It just happened out of the blue. I do not recall any foreshadowing.

That was the last time Jim did anything productive, guess what, that happened in 2006 IIRC. It's nearly a decade later bruh

Edit it was the 2005 NBA draft

Nonetheless 2 NBA les is damn productive. And it wasn't Jim Buss who ran Odom off and started this GD domino fall. But, (we) don't hold Kupchak responsible. (We) don't talk about that.

    I do.

We win those two with or without Bynum; he was a role-player with an ego. Should've gotten rid of the knucklehead sooner TBH.

Of course it's easy to say that now that they are actually won.
