Durant entered the game experiencing soreness in his surgically-repaired right foot. He also recently missed four of five games due to a sprained left big toe

As for Durant...wow, who could've seen this coming after rushing back from a Jones fracture?

Might as well shut it down.

KD is salty over a few things:

    1. Media intrusion into his life
    2. Being on a losing team as a reigning MVP
    3. Getting replaced as a starter in the ASG
    4. Being cucked by his own point guard

He's probably going to take the rest of the season off to just chill. Any smart GM would insist on it. You don't take that chance with an asset like that, you could ruin his entire career and lose who knows how many hundreds of millions in revenue. , let Russ shoot every trip down the floor. Let him and Waiters duke it out for HNWIC.

This. With the injuries to Durant and Westbrook Harden would have had plenty of chance to still shine. Pus he may be a better play-maker than either guy. Sure he would probably never lead the league in scoring but he would of been the key to the offense and Ibaka could be the 4th option ... what a cheap owner.

And I think DMC is right Im sure not making ASG, losing and having pain in his foot are all factors on why he is pissy with media. I also agree they should shut him down this season wasnt going to end with a le anyway and that all that matters. But IF i am OKC i would be careful Washington still looms and if DMC is right the thought of playing with a PG who is almost as athletic as Russ but leading the league in assists with a chance to go home ... could be Lebron 2.0

I agree they should have shut him down for the season. You just don't around with injuries with a player of that caliber. It sucks we got robbed of Grant Hill's prime because Detroit wouldn't shut him down when it needed to be done. I'd hate to see the same with Durant, because he's one of the most exciting players I have seen since I started watching in the 80s. Like a longer version of Kobe or a more athletic Iceman.

We shut him down last year on our way to the ring, unlike your hero in LA who already quit this season (and last) who got his pushed in by the same KD.

We dismantled them repeatedly last year. Why would we be afraid of them? The Thunder look worse than they ever have before, not even considering their record this season. They're a walking isoball machine, playing an antiquated style in a league that demands a lot more.

Obviously that would leave me with the proverbial reconciliation card.

Just watching this game Durant looks pretty sore as he runs up and down the court. He's changed his shoes several times during the game.

Durant is way too important to risk his career over a basically lost season. I can't believe they're not looking out for him.

Exactly. They're better off sitting him and letting the other guys gel for the playoffs. Durant could be gone at anytime, worse case right before or during the playoffs, leaving the rest of the team scrambling.

They may cross into grant hill territory soon.
