Not the worst ever, but I didn't finish watching Birdman. I usually finish watching the not-so-good movies, but this one was just too annoying.
Oops. Wrong thread.

Eraserhead
It still hurts.

Because people feel really superior when they get to hate on something. So rather than actually using their brains, they spew bile and all over the place and then feel like they improved the decor.
That said, I've seen some movies that definitely didn't live up to the hype lately. This is the End was supposed to be hilarious, but idk, it was just somewhat funny.
i can never think of the worst film and i've seen my share. i think i go a bit easy on films, maybe because i respect the hard work that goes into it, so even ty films, i still try to make sense of it. i've never walked out of a theater while the movie was still playing, i'll follow that to completion.
only film I can remember not finishing on VHS was Police Academy:Mission to Moscow, and I actually enjoy the series, so maybe that is the worst film I've seen. At the very worst those films are a guilty pleasure but Moscow was so terrible it killed off the franchise.
the films that piss me off the most are soulless Oscar bait, like they are just preaching to a liberal choir and the film has no real voice. i hate those types so I rarely watch them.
two films that I thought were absolute garbage, and I thought about walking out on until they turned into beautiful works of flaming that I'll never forget, are Aliens vs Predator and Battle Los Angeles. I just remember being so bored with both of them until there was a key moment where it went from a B movie to absolute Grade Z . I really enjoy that moment when audiences realize what they are watching is so bad, they start mocking the film MST3K style.
damn Brazil, sorry you didn't appreciate Starship Troopers. I figured as a Frenchie you would like Verhoven's view of Americans as imperialistic Nazis. The movie was very entertaining, not just the satire but the great action sequences, Phil Tippett's badass CGI, and Dina Meyer's body. I even enjoyed part 3 which is admittedly not that good.
Yeah, I mean I understand not enjoying Starship Troopers, and it has its share of flaws.
But if it is even anywhere near being one of the worst movies you have ever seen, you haven't seen much.
This movie was garbage. The 'shaky camera' effect is totally overused, and the choreography in the action scenes is so damn confusing it's hard to tell the heroes from the villains.
I can honestly say I got more enjoyment out of Battle of Los Angeles, the straight-to-video ripoff of the Eckhart movie.
I did enjoy starship troopers... with the brain full of weed top 3 movie in history... once you get the satire stuff, plot is weak ass, actors are horrible... just saying sober movie sucks ass except for Denise Richards (prime Denise.... delicious)

My problem with Starship Troopers is that it was an awful adaptation of a great book.
Air Bud: Final Table - his tell is that he wags his tail
Gravity was the worst movie I've ever seen.
Sandra Bullock up close grunting and sighin and whining and breathing with no real plot or real movie going on
Yeah woulda been cool on Imax but still as a movie is mung
Just saw it on right now.....and Prometheus is just a plain awful movie.
I remember being so hype when I heard an "aliens" prequel was coming out....and they showed the "alien" for 5 seconds at the very end of the movie. Just a ing waste of two hours tbh.
Anybody get hypercritical towards movies when they are drunk? I watched Raiders of the Lost Ark again last night drunk and didn't really like the Hollywood-ness of it (the sound editing, the action, the predictable plot, etc.). It's still a good movie, and I like Indiana Jones, but it wasn't as good when I re-watched it. The same thing happened with Prisoners. And when I first saw Seven Psychopaths drunk, I hated that movie. But then again, maybe it's a bad movie.
I never understood why someone would say a movie is worth watching because some girl got naked or did something erotic. You can watch hot girls each other for free online all day any day. Why pay movie prices and sit through to see not even soft porn? The amount of praise some of you betas heap on hollywood s is amazing.
Just remembered the one movie I kinda liked...until I actually considered what was actually going on, and then realized it was the most horse , nonsensical, godawful pile of sappy, overacted crap on this planet. Stranger Than Fiction.
I remember watching this terrible movie in the theater when I was a kid. Richards was the only thing keeping me from labeling it the worst movie I've ever seen (or at least tied for it).
