But sources told ESPN.com on Tuesday night that Dragic has little interest in signing a long-term deal with the Rockets, who would thus likely be unwilling to surrender the needed assets this week to get a Dragic deal done.
The Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks, sources said, are destinations that highly intrigue Dragic, given that both teams desperately need a point guard and will have loads of cap space to offer him. Only the Suns can offer Dragic a five-year deal for now, but any team that trades for Dragic this week would inherit his Larry Bird rights and the ability to offer a five-year contract come July.]]]

I just can't understand him wanting to play for us. Why? We ain't got a pot to piss in, nor a window to throw it out of.
The money and the fame. Especially if LA is willing to pay 20 million a year like what's been reported, plus all the endorsements. In addition, the Lakers is a storied franchise with the whose who at the games.

But, Ill, we have no way back. We'll be drifting in the for years to come unless they lift the cap.

You guys have your pick this year, plus Randle. If you sign Dragic you'll squeeze at least another 4 good years out of him. That's a decent starting nucleus until you guys can attract more talent to build around the core.

Everyone but McDonough knew it was a stupid move to bring in Thomas--the media even wondered why they would draft a PG. Then they sign another one? Insane.

Choosing IT over Dragic is just plain stupid.

^Suns "defiant" is how they'll play it to start with. They'll brazen it out. They're closing ranks at this very moment, putting out the marching orders & talking points to local Media. At 6AM local time (in 3 hours) it will begin. I'm going to go back and get 3 more hours of the old proverbial shut eye so I can be bright eyed & bushy tailed when the first shot is fired over the bough.

The Suns' ty management led to this, tbh. What were they thinking when they brought in Bledsoe and IT?

Goran on a Heat team would be a scary team come playoff time..

    Goran-wade-Deng-Bosh-Whiteside..

If im one of the top eastern teams in the league, I'd stay away from Miami...
    oh yeah, so scary

Thomas shoots more than Westbrook. Chucks it up every time down the floor, just annoying as to watch, especially knowing that Dragic is 1000x better and having seen him torch us in a PO series. PHX is duuuuuuuuumb.

can't tank with him though. They probably need to be relevant because of the sponsors ..

They're lit this morning and taking it out on IT, playin' it tough. McDonough? "It was right what he did, but, it just didn't work out." tee, hee.

By 6PM tonite it'll have turned into "it's a good thing."

He's pissed about not being the featured player on the team and honestly, I cannot blame the guy one bit. He carried the team last year when Bledsoe was out with his torn meniscus. Dragic has made ALL-NBA, what in the has Bledsoe done? And don't get me started on IT3 and drafting Tyler Ennis, that MadTV looking mother er (McDumbass) just the bed and now he has to lay in it.
    Point.

You have an all-star calibre PG who took les money to play for oyu.... and you stack the team with 4 PGs.... brilliant SunS!

Well i don't think they would be very good for a couple years but they would at least be compe ive. He wants to go to a big market team where he will be the primary guy.

i guess you could spin it like that, but he really isn't the type to need a big market or be the top dog, he just isn't a me type of guy. Now taking a discount so that the team stacks your position instead of a wing, has to be pretty annoying. It's the last time he can break the bank, so he will do exactly that.
