Dallas is waiving Ricky Ledo. I'd put in a claim just to see what's up. Dude was hyped in school.
I would hate to give up Marco. Green for Marco kinda seems redundant for Phoenix, trading a sf for a SG/sf who cost around the same doesn't make them better especially if they want to resign next season.

Honestly, I'm not sure if I could name 5 players in the NBA that would be worse fits for the Spurs(from a chemistry standpoint, not role) than Gerald Green, tbh..
Pop would probably kill himself if he had to coach him..
I was one of the biggest pro-Wilson Chandler people on ST a few years ago, but it seems like he's beginning to decline, tbh..the SF position sees a sharp decline for players that don't have niches IMO..it's also generally a difficult position to fit in your system when the SF isn't a 3 or D or 3-d guy..
At this point the best bet for the Spurs would be to just wait and see the buyout market. There's no player out there that would really move the needle for the Spurs that could be had for their tradeable assets outside trading draft picks which they seem hesitant to move. If Diaw, Splitter, and Parker come around they'll be set, but if not there's no player to be had to offset their decline.

Suns informed Goran Dragic tonight that they'll accept his request for trade and work to move him by deadline, league source tells RealGM.

Really hope he doesn't go to any of the top 7 teams in the West.
After his last stint in Houston, doubt he would want to go back.
Call me crazy but if I was the Thunder I'd trade for Dragic and move Westbrook to the 2....
I think we pick up AK47 by buyout or trading Philly
He had his chance and blew us off so him. And I'm sure Pop doesn't appreciate him disrespecting Brett Brown. And on top of all that: NO. MORE. OLD. S. Well, unless we can get him for in exchange of Ginger .
Why do people keep saying this? He has a well known feud with Ettore Messina. He called him out for leaving CSKA Moscow, owned by AK's friend(s).
Oh yeah, I forget about that but when you combine that with his mutiny against Brown, there's no chance in we get him.
Against Brown? I'm not following.
Also, it's good that Dragic isn't interested in Houston. I figured he's pissed off with them or doesn't like them after they wouldn't pay him and let him go in the first place.
I have no idea what Houston were thinking letting go of both Lowry and Dragic. Two really, really good points guards and then they go sign Jeremy Lin instead. ing idiots.
I wouldn't mind him going to the seventh seed in the west at all.
I pray that he somehow goes to the seventh seed in the West. His name is ing Goran Dragic. He belongs here.
Wont happen or not even going to be thought of by the Suns.. but hypothetically.. what if Suns are keen on Parker for Dragic? (Parker for Dragic + Green)
I would do it!
after this? No!
Amick reports that there are thought to be seven or eight teams seriously interested in Dragic and that he also wants to be given the freedom and support to run his own team such as Stephen Curry's situation with the Golden State Warriors.
The Suns also have Tucker and it seems that most of their fans would like to get rid of Gerald Green. He shoots whenever he catches the ball and is one of the worst defenders in the league (worse than any player we have on our team). No thanks. I can fully understand that Dragic wants out of the Suns. It has become a collection of big egos rather than a basketball team.
"Teams trying to move high-priced veterans like Prince, Andrea Bargnani (Knicks), Bass (Celtics),Kevin Martin (Timberwolves) and David Lee (Warriors) aren't likely to find any takers. All of the above, besides Lee, would then be headed for buyouts, sources say."

Figured Bass but Martin is interesting, if true. He has two more years after this season and is on a pretty good contract ($6.8 this season, 7.0 and 7.3 million over the next two).
Yeah. someone is really planning on buying out Martin's contract....
Nope. I'd totally take on Martin for Beli and Ayres if the Wolves were willing to swap the Spurs' pick with the Heat pick.

Dragic's preferred destinations are Knicks, Lakers, & Heat^
He is apparently wary of returning to Rockets. Also heard somewhere else that he'd want Beverly to be move if the Rockets get him. Dragic and Beverly have the same agent and if Beverly gets move to the Suns he will see a sharp drop in minutes.
