Sounding like a drama queen now.
Suns screwed the pooch, dont see how Dragic is in the wrong. they drafted his future replacement and signed and re-signed two guys that alter his role. I think picking up his brother was a carrot they dangled because they know the two guys they added are likely going to bond with the team more than he was. Not trying to go racial but Im guessing Bledsoe and IT have more in common with most of the Suns roster. Just a bad situation that Suns did to themselves. Let it go. Time to move on.
and as much as I like Dragic, it's not like you are losing Lebron. this wont have a lasting affect on the suns ...the jacked up roster composition is the real issue.
Why? Because he's a point guard who wants to play point guard? Phoenix has made it pretty clear they don't want him anymore by getting three point guards the last couple of years.
No not because he wants to be the guy. But going HAM on Phoenix's FO right before the deadline destroys his trade value. Pretty clear he wants to stick it to them.
would be scary of OKC and Phoenix discussed a Jackson/Dragic trade
& that's rare in these parts. Especially that it blew up nationally. They usually are able to contain their problems no further north than New River. His picture is plastered all over this town on Billboards. And once they're done doing him, IT is next, then they must address the Morris kids and Bledsoe is always on slow burn. It's a great time for me here. These ers have to eat the do-do sandwich, they've nary other choice.
OKC being the cheapskates they are, will not pay Dragic 100 million. Not that he is worth it though.
they wouldn't pay Dragic, but i think they'd rather rent him than rent Jackson
'em. Ship him off to a team he didn't list, whatever gets us the best assets I'm down for. There's been reports he's upset that his brother hasn't been playing and his brother did not go to the d-league when the front office requested it. The Suns ed up no doubt but Goran is acting like a in this.
That "brother" is just the Suns putting out do-do in the backwash of this, Ill. They ed up and they admitted such a week ago when McDonough said so in a round-a-bout way. They knew, this isn't new. Dragic went to them and they didn't handle it. They thought they could stonewall it with the local Media sitting on the pot lid. When his agent came calling yesterday the jig was up. Now today at practice Goran blew it sky high, humiliated them in broad daylight. I like you, Ill, and I don't want to see you suffer, but, I enjoy seeing certain people in that org. and this Media have to eat this.
And this goes back to the Bledsoe signing. Dragic wanted to be PG. Then hire a legit SG. McDonough caught the same disease that is SOP here:::stubborn to the bitter end///never admit you're wrong///ignore anybody who disagrees or says "no mas."///stay in bed with Media and they'll cover you to a gigantic fault.
Markieff figuratively slapped the livin' out of Horny a month ago. Now Dragic has done McDonough & Babby the same way.
I agree with you that the front office isn't blameless in this debacle. I still have no idea what McDumbass was thinking when he drafted Ennis and signed IT. However, Zoran hasn't played one d-league game yet, we brought him over to appease Goran, we even offered to meet with Goran to ask him what we needed to do in order to rectify the situation. He wants to be traded, he doesn't wanna deal with the front office anymore, this is coming out of nowhere by the way, this is the first time anybody has talked about it. So there's some stuff going on that the media is not explaining to the fan base that caused this rift between Goran and the organization.
Yep, but, for McDonough to come out last week and apologize for overloading at the PG position was a shocker. He must have heard that Dragic was pissed and was trying to mitigate it.
It's a bad roster of militant types, Morris kids, Bledsoe, Tucker, IT and Green are all bad news.
Yep, yep, yep, yep, & yep.
I was saying all this stuff before Dragic said it. You could see that the guy is not happy standing in the corner while Bledsoe and Thomas think they are Jordan.
wow very interesting how this is taking place isn't it? I hope he goes to the Kings
He has every right to be upset, he's a really nice player who was rewarded for his breakout position with increased compe ion for his job and less play calls for him. I really like him as a player and hope he can get on a playoff team.
Just revisited this thread from last night and I see DJohn still has that shrimp hard on fro that overrated piece of Dragic.
What else is new
Dragic is becoming pretty overrated, tbh, although I do agree with his desire to leave..Suns are one of the worst managed teams in the NBA at the moment IMO, including the coach..
I hope they pull off trade and it derails the tank and they pass the Lakers in wins ...
They aren't getting him for that package. And Sacramento is hesistant to trade for him. It all comes down to if Rox want to take a gamble, but they aren't and shouldnt offer a lot for a rental.
