That was probably the best playoff run of his career, IMO (he wasn't that dominant throughout the entire 2009 playoffs)...

Unfortunately, he wasn't rewarded with a ring, since the Spurs can't ring if Gino isn't playing at a high level... as we all know by now...

Duncan playing with plantar fascitis against the Mavs:
32/12/4/3 on 62% TS in seven games.

Manu playing with a broken arm against the Grizzlies:
21/4/4/3 on 59% TS in six games.

Tony Parker playing through an "injury" against the Heat:
15/6 on 47% TS in seven games.

First two are amazing performances while playing through an injury. The last one? Not so much.
Why did you leave off Ginobili vs LAL in 2008?

When he hit that 3 it felt like it was just meant to be. Then he hit the 2 and it just re-affirmed.

Damn I wanted to beat that Heat team, the Heat in all its glory, the Heat team that won 28 straight, the Heat team that didnt look tired and old........damn.
Especially after the huge drought the Spurs went through. When they lost in 7, it felt like that was it. End of an era. Worst breakdown in Finals history smh.... .

If Parker is anywhere near healthy come playoff time = NBA ed.

Not his fault Manu was playing for the Heat. Still don't think Parker would have won the FMVP (either DG or Timmy would have won imo). Thankfully 2014 happened and Manu got to redeem himself.

Tony has an amazing playoff run until game 6 of the finals : lol ballhog scrub putting up stats wants all the glory in enrique

hurts his hammy, yet guts it out and almost wins the le with 2 incredibly clutch shots in game 6: lol choking got

How do people on this forum not love a player who has won 4 rings for us and gives it his all, and, despite people's ridiculously short term memory, has sacrificed a lot to keep us in contention? That playoff run was pretty incredible, and without the terrible misfortane of game 6, would have ended the Spurstalk shtick of "you can't win with a PG as your best player" bs

You are a ing idiot, he pretty much single handedly won game 6 for us save the fact that Manu and Pop had other plans. He gets an A for that playoff run.

you sound like a Kobe follower, tbh..

6-23, but made a couple of big shots late in the game = Al-Quobe logic..

Keep your ty takes in your mom's basement because you must live down there with the amount of accounts (apolisock, harlem_ get, Malik_Hairston, etc.) and attention whoring you do on this website, seriously though, you are a , off

Always find it amusing that TP's biggest fans have no problem trashing Kobe or Westbrook's shooting numbers but seem to ignore Tony's ty post-season percentages.

No, but a step back 3 pointer over the best player in the league, a steal, and a go ahead layup, scoring 5 points in 20 seconds in the 4th quarter vs the defending champions with a minute to play is pretty much singlehandedly winning the le.

Yeah, but we would have beat them if not for bull luck, basically. And 2014 was still sweet revenge. Don't feel bad about it.

It's a shame how most seem to forget that fact there. He has had some huge series for us, when we used to play the Suns he used to cancel out Nash and have HUGE games! Granted Nash was on him with matador D alot but he used to attack the lane at will and kill those Suns teams during our playoff runs and they were one of our main foes at the time with close games routinely happening (Just seemed to go our way more). Parker dissapeared in series yes and we all know that, had a bad game 7 in the Finals and most of game 6 as we all know but he has been a huge part of 4 les hate him or love him. I still don't get why people hate players on our team TBH, sad.

He got hurt man, he was really banged up those last few games and that cost us a le IMO.

It will always bother me because that could have been our organizations defining moment. We would have pulled an upset in the NBA Finals against one of the better teams in NBA history. That 2013 Heat team was the best Heat team of the four, hands down. It would have been our moment, no one was expecting us to win. Heck I was under the mindset all year that we would fall short, so I NEVER got excited. When Ginobli rebounded that ball and started running up court, it finally hit me, I finally felt the rush, the excitement, everything. It felt like Heaven, they were actually going to do this.

Revenge in 2014 was nice, but the excitement was not the same. I expected them to win it, 2013 I did not, I just kept on holding it off.....This year I think I will feel the similar feeling that I did in 2013 if the Spurs do win, because right now, I do not have 100% confidence that they will win it. Its just to much for this team that has played many games since the start of the 2013 season.
