My guess is he figured we weren't beating the Warriors tonight in any case, since Tony was predictably terrible and Duncan was on fumes, so rather than let Curry and Klay get used to seeing 40 minutes of Leonard/Green, he opted to not "show his hand" in the event of a post-season matchup.
It's the only reasoning I've got here.

One would like to think pop has it under control but he doesn't. He's letting Cojo rot on the bench and we will probably need him because tp is that bad at defense. He will probably start Cojo mid series after letting him rot on the bench just like he did splitter in 2011 against Memphis.
