    One of the best things Kawhi gives us is the flexibility and utility on defense to give other teams fits. Danny Green is great at shutting guards down, but he's not nearly as good at containing larger players. With Danny at the 2 and Kawhi at the 3, we can shut down just about any wing combo in the league. It makes Pop's bizarre rotations look a lot more intelligent as well.

    His rebounding is phenomenal, which is key since Tim has had no legs since December, tbh

    I've said before I don't think Kawhi is a max player, but it doesn't matter. The Spurs will end up paying the max to him because some team will offer the max, and the Spurs will have to match not to end up empty handed.

    So for all intents and purposes, he will be a max player.

    well, haters haven't bumped his thread in a while

    San Antonio played 17 games in December and January without Leonard, who was out with an injury to one of his massive hands. The Spurs were 8-9 in those games, and are 15-7 since Leonard returned. That, on the other hand, is no fluke.
