    You say that like it's a bad thing. If Timmy and Manu retire, being a lottery team is the best thing that can happen to us. Better now than to be an average team, fighting for the 8th seed for a few years.That's NBA purgatory.

    At least Tony will help ensure us a top 5 pick.

    What? The Lakers aren't le contenders because they traded for Dwight and Nash and it backfired. Tanking is the only reason the Spurs won 5 Championships... without Timmy, the Spurs likely aren't even in SA anymore.

    They been tankin for 2 years.

    and horse the Spurs didn't tank to get duncan. All the great players got hurt that 96-97 season. That's not tankin b. Spurs didn't even have the best odds to win the lottery, the celtics did.
