Meant great news they lost. Just heard he has a fractured cheekbone. Don't like him, but don't wish injury on him.

really? they had Harden, Durant and Dentbrook and got to the finals and now are in danger of falling out of the playoffs.

yeah, good going OKC meth front office
That was 3 years ago, I said last season. Like someone saying R.C didn't deserve executive of the year because he traded for and later re-signed R.J to a 4 Year, $40 million deal 3 years before won. Durant has misses 32 games and Westbrook missed 14 with a broken finger, this season, and they are 8th in the playoff race. This is the most balanced team they've ever had after all of the trades.

Are you serious? There's just a tiny difference between signing a guy to a contract that's too large and trading away a future top 2 mvp candidate for peanuts and a couple of ing role players. Every single front office has signed a guy to a big deal who shouldn't have gotten it. How many of them have traded away an MVP?

Even the version with Kevin Martin was better than the current OKC team... this incarnation is strictly the Durant-Westbrook show... somehow they managed to go from top-heavy to ultra top-heavy...

Got to respect an athlete that actually stays in shape and takes care of his body. Unlike the fat slob playing point for San Antonio.

You're missing the point of the intial point. I said this season. he brought Harden into the conversation. I agree that trading Harden was a bad idea. It looks much worse now that Martin is averaging 20 in Minnesota and Lamb, who OKC liked has been a disappointment. Toronto was much better that season than expected and they wound up with the 12th pick instead of a top 5 pick.

Essentially its Steven Adams for James Harden. Adams ceiling is an above average big man. That can start for the next decade.

    Disagree

    Westbrook
Singer (possibly going to start over Roberson)
    Durant
    Adams
    Ibaka

    Bench

    Augustine
    Waiters
    Morrow
    Kantor
    Collison

that's a balance 10 man unit. With Westbrook playing the best ball of his career. Ibaka has stretched his range out to 3. Kantor has been excellent in the p&r, Morrow is the best shooter they had during Durant's time there. Waiters has an ability to get hot (or shoot them out of a game) Adams is a hustle player, and Singler is a jack of all trades forward who can shoot . The end of the bench has Roberson, who can defend (but can't shoot) and Novak as a 3pt specialist. Not to mention Durant has been really good (when he's played, 25.5 ppg, 6.6 rpg, 4 apg, 1 spg, 1bpg, 27.8 P.E.R.)

    12-13

    Westbrook
    Sefolsha
    Durant
    Ibaka
    Perkins

    Bench
    Fisher
    Jackson
    Martin
    Thabeet
    Collison

    The 12-13 roster had

    pre-MVP Durant

    Westbrook 1.0

    Perkins starting

    Jackson before he got good

Fisher & Thabeet were rotation players as well

    Whoa Westbrook sidelined again..
This a good opportunity for the WC like the Spurs but still, I feel bad for Oklahoma.
This might open the doors for other teams like NY or LA to grab Durant next season ..

Lebron channeling his inner Westbrook today with a touch of Deandre Jordan.

Oh man, dont make me do this....but you are comparing a 26 year old with a 32 old. News buddy, you get fatter when your old. FACTS OF LIFE. Its' harder to lose weight and gain muscle. I'm not saying parker isnt out of shape but your comparison is fundamentally void.

DJ, Waiters and Morrow are turrible, inconsistent players. Don't even know who Singer is. It's basically Westbrook, Ibaka, Durant and a bunch of bench players.

Sefolosha got a bad rep in the series against us, but he was the only guy that could play solid D in the perimeter for them, and as seen in Atlanta, he's far from done. To this day, they've not been able to replace his defensive production.
Kevin Martin is a starter in 50% of the teams in this league, can score, knows how to flop/draw fouls. Fish only played minimum minutes, and was a steady vet for them. It's a much more seasoned/rounded team than what they have right now, IMO.

Duncan set the standard for the Spurs. He trains like a maniac in the off-season to stay in shape at age 39. Parker obviously doesn't. As the highest paid player on the team, he should have some sort of obligation to at least TRY to keep up with TD.

Hate to break it to you, but age is not an excuse to be spending all offseason shoving Whataburgers and KFC DoubleDowns into your fat face, tbh.

Tim most definitely sets an amazing standard for training in the off-season. Parker, Tiago, and few others have often played through the summer for their national teams. This previous summer I was happy TP was going to get some rest in the summer. He was looking rested and doing well until his hamstring injury.

It was against the Lakers tho

More significant is the Spurs closing out two playoff series without their "MVP" in last year's playoffs.

tbqh, beating a team that's starting 2015 Tony Parker(one of the worst starters in the NBA) isn't much of an accomplishment.
