Season 3 this February!
Great series, I love it that I can watch the entire series without waiting for the next episode. Spacey is a got, but a damn good one.
The original version s on the Murican one
Why was Kate Mara at the table with the cast during the Globes? She was only in one episode of the 2nd season.
He's technically only half a .
Great series. I hated when it ended. You know he got to be President, right?![]()
You talking about the british version or the Netflix one?
That one hasn't ended. Season 3 is coming in feb.
The threesome with Meechum and Claire confirms that he is a . But a damn good one, as DMC mentioned.
Switch hitter
Anyone watching? What about a thread for every episode?
I finished it last night. Was good, but not quite as good as the first two imo
No suspense yet or shocking plot surprises yet.....just plodding along.
4 episodes in on season 3 and I'm getting bored.
because her acting in that one scene was incredible. the way she slammed into that oncoming train, she really sold it, blood splattering and all
6 episodes in, still boring as .
This season wasn't that great. Seemed to drag on, like the middle to last songs of an LP. Has become predictable. Not staying consistent with Underwoods' character flaws (both Underwoods). Theme is repe ive, every person they meet is/was a pros ute, opens up to them. Unlikely events snare people who should know better by now. Whitehouse seems lackluster, no one wants to be there. Where is Marine One?
overall wasn't as good as first 2 seasons... it was way too much about Doug, more than I would assume anybody would care for. cliffhanger ending was nice, but over the course of the season, the tension (outside of a few Russia scenes) was never as great as they had accustomed me to
Very disappointed in this season.
I didn't care for how Jackie suddenly grows a conscience, she was a cold before and that's how I liked it. Same is true for Remy, he's supposed to be inside connection guy yet the police don't know who the ing Chief of Staff is at the Whitehouse, a black cop doesn't know a black Chief of Staff? Yeah... they need the Lt to tell them. Show got stupid.
one thing i never understood about the show is what relevance Frank's bisexuality has... it seems completely pointless as to the plot or his character in general. they just throw it in there because... reasons!
Yeah I'm gonna need Frank to kill someone to cover up some dirty deeds pretty soon or I'm gonna have to give up on this show.
the plot is too vanilla and the characters left this season are just shadows of themselves from the first two seasons
Finished the season last night and here are my thoughts on it..
Enjoyed it as a whole but this season was the series weakest by a few points. Too much time spent with Doug Stamper and to be honest, I forgot all about that plot with the girl. Why did he needed to get her out of the way or kill her again? That's something that went over my head like a flying disc.
The last episode was very anti-climatic. There was no real surprises or shocking moments that left you wanting to know what happens next. The season finale felt like just a random episode.
Now we know why his surname is Underwood. He likes to be under wood
she was the last loose end when it came to the Russo investigation... but Doug went over the deep end with her. and yeah, i agree, season 3 was way too much about Doug
He did go over the edge but only in his obsession with her. Eventually he did what he should have done from the start. I'm not real fond of the dichotomy the writers try to play with each character's personas as if we need to see that a murdering piece of has a soft heart at times. Just leave him as a murdering piece of and move forward. There's no way to redeem these characters but it seems like the show is trying to, and it will all be just to have that card yanked out from under it all at the end and they will be shown going to prison while the ex-Pres will be pardoned by the next that he colluded with to get into office. It's not even up for debate at this time.
