Under. As long as they have HC over the Thunder should they make it it'll be enough.
I love how Spursfans handicap the season two weeks in. Teams are getting ever so closer to being on par with the Spurs. We can skip the typical yearly "Thunder are the only compe ion" nonsense because you don't know that.

We will be possibly 2-5 in two nights time and then we will have a stretch of bad opponents and have shot at winning 10 straight games or more. We will figure it out, its just the tough games came at the start with some of our key contributors missing, no big deal, we will figure it out like always

They are tbh. Dubs have a better coach but the Spurs have Curry and Thompson figured out, Portland is the same as last year, Houston runs a gimmicky offense, Dallas has no perimeter D/terrible PGs while the Spurs have Splitter to throw on Dirk, and the Clippers have no SFs/terrible D outside Jordan/bad coach. Only team that worries me is NO but they're a year away.

You're basing this on one playoff series? Anyways, OKC has a terrible coach and a ball hog at the point. They also don't have much depth outside the starting five. I guess there isn't a threat to 6.

Helps that they haven't lost to them since. Other than health and Duncan/Manu/Parker falling off a cliff, not really.

Where are people on this at about a 1/4th of the season done? Spurs are an enigma = play the good to great teams fine then lose to scrubs. It is a long season but 55 sounds about right, but I am going with 54 max.

Spurs are on pace to win ~60 games... this is while dealing with injuries to Mills, Tiago, Beli & Parker... on the other hand, the schedule has been relatively accessible so far. I think the worse will be during this month (December). Too many games against too many good teams, plenty of back to backs. If they can survive this stretch at a respectable winning percentage, I think they'll be in good shape to reach 55. Health ultimately is always the big concern.

    Over easy.

Tiago coming back and 4-6 weeks for Patty. Tiago is up in the class with Duncan and Claw defensively and Patty was the best shooter on the team last season.

Take 18 and 4 to do it, not impossible way playing last couple of games, but 52 wins more like it.

They have to go 13-9 the rest of the way to keep the 50 win streak going. I think that's very doable. I think they might need 55 wins to get HCA in the first round. Going 18-4 the rest of the way will be difficult.

Looking like 48-49 wins unless they start rolling. The remaining schedule is brutal.

    Spurs still have 2 games each with Dallas (1 H, 1 A), Houston (1 H, 1 A), and OKC (1 H, 1 A). Add to that they also play Cleveland (H), Memphis (H), GSW (H), and ATL (A). 18-4 isn't gonna happen.

waiting four months to respond. Spurs still match up well with WC contenders outside Meth, NO, and maybe Houston.

Better late than ever. Without looking, let me guess you bumped this thread after the GS game? It's going to take more than 2 wins against Sacramento and a win against Phoenix before I start talking about match ups. Just about any WC playoff team could take the Spurs in a series right now. The entire team needs to play better and more consistent. But keep in mind, the Spurs go as far as MVParker takes them.

No, waiting this long to respond is feminine behavior.

Just because the Spurs play like doesn't mean they don't match up well with most WC playoff teams; it just means some of their players (Enrique) have declined to the point other teams can overcome the match up disadvantage.
