Early game + Time Change = Spurs struggle
Early game + Time Change = Spurs struggle
And in Lew Alcindor's day, there was no defensive three second clock to make guys change position every few seconds. They could just camp out below the rim and swat.
Man, Nono....way to stick your neck out! Sure hope you have the mojo to pull this off, because I also believe that the Spurs struggle with early games...they also struggle on nationally televised games.
Still, though, if we stink up this game, you're gonna put even MORE pressure on MVPBill for thread starts for the rest of the season and post season.
At least you didn't let Amused Day Sleeper start it!
Best of luck to us all!!
Gasol and Noah are really tough match-ups for our bigs. I assume that Kawhi will help Tim on Gasol defensively, and leave Splitter on Noah? Pau is too fast for Tim any more, and Noah's strength and physicality will seriously challenge Splitter. I wonder if Pop will eventually use Baynes on Noah, at least to body him up. He would at least match the physicality.
Not suggesting that Pop not start Splitter....we have been too successful with him of late not to give him the nod...but I sure wouldn't be surprised to see a need for size and strength a là Baynes pretty early.
Gang rebounding is probably going to be key for us.
this has to be one of the most inaxurate basketball prediction ever..
splitter on noah tim on gasol..Noah will challenge splitter on the defensive end..
Holy fk...does this dude even watch ball.
The need for size thinks baynes over splitter...
