He's never averaged 25 ppg over an extended period of time, so he won't maintain his current level. Wouldn't be surprised if he plays at or close to his 13-14 level though. Two weeks ago I would've never thought that but his finishing ability magically came back out of nowhere overnight.
Do you think it had anything to do with Leonard getting a new role in the team? Kobe was like that in other players as well..They struggle for a bit when a new younger guy gets more responsibility..So they purposley play bad..

So who do you think was the better player tonight: Parker or Lowry?

Yeah, I hold a grudge against him bc I have no problem calling him out when he sucks. Sorry his play didn't inspire me to have the 'balls' to believe in him.

I have talked about his quickness. He flashed it a bit around Xmas but then it was like he couldn't dribble or make a lay up. I figured he had a shot to get better. Looks like I was right too.

Let's compare and contrast to your narrative of Parker fanboys, how you hate player fans, the double standard of fans between Kawhi and Parker, and how he is the worst pg on the team etc. Your trolling is pretty hollow. It's like straight emotional vomit.

23 points with a 9/1 assist/turnover ratio and the Spurs won the game. Who won the match up? Fair weather fans, tbh

Thanks for admitting you were to busy doing damage control to watch the game.

Does stat padding count to you or not?

I think as a whole Pop left the team in for too long in the third quarter. He was late with the sub and then they sat on the sidelines for two minutes without a stoppage in play. That is when they made their comeback and the local Canadian bailed. They showed much better mental toughness.

Give Raptors credit they play disciplined D. They run smart double teams and do an excellent job overloading strong and zoning the weakside. I also think they got an excellent individual performance offensively from Derozan in the face of some ferocious defense from Kawhi and co. Valuncunius and Johnson do a good job helping each other out on defense: protecting the rim and getting rebounds. Lowry got lose on pnr and through rotations. Their ball movement and spacing was very effective as well.

Despite a good game from them they still lost so that is encouraging for the Spurs who kept them at bay the whole way.

Parker was beating everyone down the court routinely, hit a few jumpers, and the hesitation move which requires a quick burst was on display. He did a good job not over penetrating and staying under control to keep the play alive. Seemed to pick his spots and not dominate the ball. Didn't turn the ball over but once and did an excellent job finding open receivers and held back from pocket passes on the pnr when the Raptors started sitting on it in the second half.

Parker's arrow is straight up. If we can continue to get offensive production from Kawhi and the 1 spot -Mills' game is rounding into form as well- then I really like our chances. Between Duncan Baynes and Splitter we are keeping two plus defensive bigs on the floor most of the time. Diaw and Bonner were troubling trying to rebound particularly without Leonard on the floor.
