Why narrow the field so much??
The guys who provides lame list after lame list full of names and names, wants to narrow the field to fit his argument.![]()
RW wasn't brought in to be the starter, remember? He was going to back up te big $$$$ man.....remember? So for him to do what's he's done is amazing.
Let's do it again, it's fun, ha~~~~~~~~~
Ties rookie td record
Wins a playoff game as a rookie
Only QB in history with two 100 passer ratings in first two seasons.
Wins a SB in second season
Only QB to ever pass for 300/run for 100 in a game.
Only QB in history to play in two SB in first three seasons.
The highest passer rating ever after three seasons.
Most playoff wins ever after three seasons.
Most games played in ever after three seasons.
Most wins in history after three seasons.
Give up ya little s, this is an amazing athlete here and only a ing dummy wouldn't get it.
Dummy...but he threw a big INT in the SB
Smart cat.....and how many great QB's never even won one with some never even playing in one much less two?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My favorite DUH!...."but he has a RB and a defense"....hahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The guy who does nothing here at all but follow me around can't figure out my point is....HE STEPPED RIGHT IN AND TOOK OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'll crawl like a snail.....
RW is just a third year QB...ok? Like in...OK??? So all we can do...RIGHT NOW!!!!!..is compare him to what others did in....THEIR FIRST THREE SEASONS!!!!!!!!!!!!...ok?
DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, there is no QB in pro football history who has had a better....FIRST THREE SEASONS ...than Russell Wilson. Nobody played in more games, nobody won more games, nobody had better playoff success....that is a fact!!!!!!! And, his stats are second to none....AFTER THREE SEASONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This....."but he has a RB and a defense"...is lame ass and it's obvious, nobody ever says, "but Bart Starr had Taylor and Hornung and that great defense".....why? IT SIMPLY DOESN'T MATTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that's football.
If he'd, but he, could have, might have, what if.....is stupid, it is what it is. Just like a win is a win, nobody wants to hear a bunch of ing excuses, well this is no different.
To everything, spin,spin,spin.
There is a season, spin, spin, spin.
And a time to spin every purpose under heaven.
A time to spin, a time to spin.
A time to spin, a time to spin.
A time to spin, a time to spin.
A time to spin, a time to spin.
translation
A QB is judged on who his RB is, you don't know this?
This...
Unless a QB has to pass and pass and pass he ain't ...............hahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's ing funny.
What a bummer the Niners aren't in the NFC/AFC South.
Coach/QB combo the most important factor on any team. You always start there. Obviously a large % of the other pieces change from season to season as we are now seeing.
Look at all the division winners, usually they have that best coach/QB combo.
Who are the champs...
Belichick/Brady
Who did they beat...
Carroll/Wilson
Who won multiple SB's...
Lombardi/Starr
Noll/Bradshaw
Walsh/Montana
Who has never played in one? Lions/Browns.....now look at their coachs/QB combo's.
So all this current player movement means little if that coach/combo duo isn't in place.
I'd rather see my Niners hit rock bottom and rebuild than hover around 8-8. Now it's all about draft picks.
What was the one dramatic difference we saw in 2014 from 2013? So just how much difference did all that movement do, yep, not much.
The Seahawks, Pats, Colts, Packers, Ravens, still the mix, teams like ans, Raiders, Jags not. Don't expect any huge anythings, it takes time.
, the one team where we will see dramatic change, my Niners~!
Melvin Gordon is the total package, and will make an immediate impact. I don't see that with Gurley, he relies too much on out running defenders, those days are over.
The trade of Frank Gore got me thinking about....
Emmitt Smith...Cards
Earl Campbell....Saints
O.J.Simpson....Niners
Tony Dorsett...Broncos
Franco Harris...Seahawks
Roger Craig...Raiders
Edgerrin James...Cards
Jim Taylor...Saints
Marcus Allen...Chiefs
Corey Dillon...Pats
Eric erson/Herschel Walker/Ricky Watters/Ricky Williams.....pick a couple
Jerome Bettis...Steelers
Marshall Faulk...Rams
John Riggins...Redskins
Marshawn Lynch....Seahawks
Curt Warner...Rams
James Brooks...Bengals
Warrick Dunn...Buc's
Cookie Gilchrist...Broncos
Abner Haynes...Broncos
Larry Csonka...Giants
The NFC West was by far the worst division in the 1970s. The Rams pretty much won the division the entire decade. And the Saints and Falcons were in the NFC West from 1967-2002. Its only been 3-4 seasons where the NFC West has been strong. Wasn't that great from 2002 until 2011.
Cool!
Now add...
Charlie Gardner....pick one
Ernest Byner ...Redskins
Maurice Jones Drew...Raiders
Priest Holmes...Chiefs
Darren Sproles...pick a couple
Reggie Bush....pick a couple
Charles White...Browns
Curtis ey...Browns
Gurley ran over alot of defenders as well. That's why he kept getting nagging injuries in college. Physical runner. Watch what he did to Bama's defense in the 2012 SEC le game. He was a monster that game.
How could you leave out Hershel Walker who was part of the ultimate trade?
Yes I know all that, this was more about all those great players the Niners/Raiders have had.
, there was a time when...
NFL West
Baltimore Colts
Niners
Rams
Bears
Vikings
Packers
Lions
East
Redskins
Eagles
Cowboys
Giants
St.Louis Cardinals, after coming over from Chicago
Browns
Steelers
AFL
West
Los Angeles Chargers
Broncos
Dallas Texans (Chiefs)
Raiders
East
NY ans (Jets)
Boston Patriots
Bills
Houston Oilers
How can you miss him being there?
More about RB movement.
I saw him play a half dozen times or so, never got the feel he was a power guy.
I watched every game he played. He was more of a power back in his freshman season, but changed his style a bit as his injuries piled up. He just happened to be blessed with breakaway speed.
Stud hurdler in HS.
