Most demoralizing loss of the year in a season filled with them.
Obviously it's only a regular season game but hopefully this doesn't put the team into a tailspin as that's about as demoralizing as regular season losses go.
Spurs are cursed this year.
Most demoralizing loss of the year in a season filled with them.
Choking has been a theme with this team for years unfortunately. I just don't trust the Spurs on close games anymore.
Terrible coaching by Pop this game, it all comes down to his decisions, this L is on him.
Irving started going off on Parker early, scored the majority of his points on him. Should've had Green on Irving, Parker on Smith, such an obvious obvious matchup. By the time they made the switch Irving was just on fire, the damage was done.
Belli continues to get playing time as well smh.
This is going to energize them for the rest of the season.
Good gawd, have some balls people. The loss sucks but get over it. The Spurs played an excellent game but lost it at the FT line. It was a great game and an unfortunate loss. Those Irving shots were ridiculous. Give him credit and move on to the next game.
Chuck was saying it all night. The Spurs got great shots. Much better shots than
Cavs.
Why contribute this garbage to the forum. Stupid thread.
Missed free throws cost us. Sucks. Incredible shooting by Cleveland. Spurs played a great game tonight
eh Lebron had help from his god....the devil.....I always seem him before james throwing the illuminati triangle and throwing 6's with his hands.....just watch or look it up on youtube.....the dude sold his soul......
LeBron is such a . He is the biggest coattail rider in NBA history. Lol, all his posing and acting is so ing pathetic. Go on Lebron, beat your chest and act like you're the man. Congrats, you are on Irving ' s team.
The problem here is its a recurring trend. Spurs have lost dozens of games at the FT the past few seasons, whether it be in the regular season or Finals. Every team but the Spurs seem to have at least a go-to FT shooter to close out games.
Blessing in disguise. Not really. Kyrie was otherworldly, can't do about that. Bug/windshield...
If you think this loss was "demoralizing", you do not understand basketball, and I do not understand you.
If Im gonna sell my soul for millions of cash, basketball skills and all that stuff IŽll be ing sure I will demand a head full of hair in exchange too.
Spurs shot 56%, Cavs 48%. I think the Spurs shot better. That should be good enough to win. It looks like the defense still isn't good enough. Still got time before the season ends but that kind of defense won't get it done in playoffs.
You think the Spurs are high fiving in the locker room right now?
Every team the Spurs play against, someone goes OFF....
People were just recently concerned about the possibility of even making the playoffs.
They just went toe-to-toe with the Cavs and needed a historic performance in OT to lose.
Obviously they shouldn't be high fiving, but no Spurs fans should be losing sleep over this.
it starting to grow alittle lol....but once you sell your soul you start losing hair and getting old...James got to give up his soul to the evil one
One thing about Lebron that has always been true from what I have noticed. Is this guy will hit dagger shots when his team is ahead but if they are down he tends to disappear in pressure situations. Just look at tonight he didn't really come through until his team was ahead when he hit that dagger shot.
Only team in the NBA who will lose with a 6 point lead with 30 seconds left = Spurs.
Not worried about the loss but man, more fluke shots against this team....all...season...long.
yeah spurs had this game if KL makes those freehrows.....
Absolutely true. He can't take pressure and folds. He needs the Kyrie Irvings, Dwayne Wades and Ray Allens of the league to bail his ass out. That being said, Leonard needs to stop choking at the free throw line - which is exactly what he did. I hope it doesn't kill his confidence going forward.
