Thanks, TP
-Kyrie
Have to give this man some love, he's an elite PG that took over the game tonight..
I'm not a big fan of scoring guards, but sometimes I miss having a guard scorer like prime Manu to compete with the Irving types down the stretch, tbh..
Kyrie definitely showed the Spurs how dominance at the PG position looks tonight, can't hate..
Where would you rank him in your top PG list op, in terms of talent alone?
It's not really Parkers job to score 50 or stop kyrie. But absolutely, hats off to Kyrie for the game.
He took ing awful shots allnight and got every roll him!
1. Curry
2. Paul
3. Russ
4. Irving
5. Conley
Very similar list..I have lillard over xonley in terms of talent but have Conley over Lillard overall.
Ya I meant overall..not a fan of one-way players, tbh..
He'll score only 10 or 15 points in his next game. And the cavs will lose to a sorry ass team. It never fails.
He is having a great season and the Cavs are winning, it's not like hes Mo Williams..
whats funny is the cavs have 1 more loss than the spurs despite playing in the ty east
flavor of the week tbh.
Espn will suck his for days to come.
How does Westbrook have more talent than Irving? Irving is a much better ball handler, shooter and finisher. Westbrook is a slightly better passer, but an even more unwilling one, which essentially negates the difference. Westbrook is the most athletically reliant player of or above his caliber I've ever seen.
I realize it's possible for Irving to be both an overrated cancer and the 4th best PG, but somehow I doubt you meant the latter when you said the former. So if there was one, why the change?
Prisoner of the moment, tbh. Anyone can go off in a "meaningless" regular season game. I'd rather take my chances with a playoff proven regular with a finals MVP, who has helped guide his team to 4 NBA championships than a regular season stat padder who hasn't been able to elevate his game enough to get his team into the playoffs in a pathetic Eastern Conference that runs 2-3 teams deep (97-215 in 4 years). But yeah, Lebron does make him look good, tbh.
I'm not ranking based on talent, or else Mike Conley wouldn't be anywhere near the top 5..
I wasn't a fan of Irving prior to this season, but I've been impressed with his performance this season..he has accepted his role, has improved his spot-up shooting(was a big flaw earlier in his career), and is playing more intelligent basketball IMO..
I said they should have traded him and kept Wiggins during the off-season, but I've been impressed with his chemistry with Lebron..
I'd love for him to keep taking those shots against us. When we adjust and have Danny on him all game, combined with him not making every awful shot he takes, he won't do but shoot 30%
I wouldn't have traded Irving at any point. After his rookie season, I thought he was well on his way to eventually taking over for Paul as the best PG in the league. I even though he might develop into the rarest of players, which is to say one capable of being the best player on a championship team. Some of the shine has definitely come off of him since then, but he was always too young and way too talented to give up on so soon.
That's great make your list when that plays some D
Barely missed a shot today as well. In some sort of shooting form at the moment.
I didn't really want him having that type of game as it's probably boosted his confidence a bit.
