When Asked about his Free throw misses.

    http://www.nba.com/spurs/

Such leadership man..Him, Manu and TD have constantly taken responsibility when they feel like they could have made this or that shot.

The truly great players take the blame, tbh, they feel personally responsible..

Some players blame it on injuries, but the truly great players dont make excuses, they just take the blame and come back stronger..

Good news. But missing clutch FT's are not a fluke with him.

Kawhi is growing up before our eyes and it's an exciting process to watch. I love this kid.

Yep... unlike certain other players, who when times get tough do like sitting out entire months of the season with a sore ass-cheek, throwing their teammates under the bus, and claiming that their team is no longer a le contender, Kawhi is mature enough to take responsibility for his mistakes.

Damn right, you can tell he took missing those FT's hard with the look on his face. He is young, he will solve that problem IMO. He can be clutch and we have seen it in the finals games 6 and 7 of 013 sides the FT missed and last years MVP, he has shown up big in big games (OKC strip as well, huge) before and will again. Regular season loss here so nothing to see here, he will make them next time when it counts.

You know Kawhi made FT's to close the first game against the Clips this season, right?

Haters act like he missed all clutch FT's

Reporter: Kawhi just got done saying that he lost the game by missing free throws...

Parker interrupts: No. You can't put everything on Kawhi. Obviously he had two free throws, but we could've made a stop too. You know, we could've made a stop at the end, and we didn't do it so... We can't put everything on Kawhi.

His FT shooting is sporadic like his 3pt shot.

As much as it pains me to say it, Kawhi is a choker at the free throw line and a lot of that has to do with confidence. Just look at his stats comparing the regular season to the playoffs:

    REGULAR SEASON FT %
    2012-2013: 82.5%
    2013-2014: 80.5%

    PLAYOFF FT %
    2012-2013: 63.3%
    2013-2014: 73.6%
