I've got him penciled in for 85 receptions. I can see him hit 100 though, barring injury.

He has lost his speed. Luck should use him as his #2.
Colts dont need speed from Johnson. They have Hilton and are developing Moncrief for that. They basically need Johnson to be a move the chains guy and show the young guys how to be a pro. I feel like he'll perform creepily similar to Reggie Wayne in that offense.

Frank Gore basically needs to not give up after first contact to be like upgrading Trent Richardson to Emmitt Smith.

This. The more I think about it, the more I think that Dre didn't care nearly as much about remaining a #1 as he said he did in discussions with Houston. He just acted like that to justify getting released. He'll be fine with a reduced role in Indy.

He complained in the media about how he caught 85 balls and was asked to take a reduced role. He probably cared some.

Just because he complained to the media doesn't mean he actually cared about staying a #1. If anything, it sort of proves my point.

Andre Johnson wanted out Houston and the Texans didn't want to pay him.

Andre Johnson told Colts reporters he knew he was probably gone from the #Texans a while ago. "I knew it before the season even started."

Is 2-14 an optimistic prediction for the Texans?

I doubt it. We still have to see what they do in the draft. I think they've had a solid free agency, and I'm hoping they get a legit wide out with speed in the draft. Given all that, it still depends on what kind of production we get out of the starting QB. They did fairly well last season and they had Fitz, Mallet, and Keenum starting at different points in the season. At best I can see this team going 10-6, at worse going 7-9.

Ya that's why I said we have to wait and see what they do in the draft. I'm certain they'll draft a WR at some point and either in ILB/OLB. From what I've heard Nix will be in the mix this season, and they may sign Wilfork via free agency. I don't know if RB is a major need right now. I now Foster tends to get hurt a lot but they seem pretty high on ABlue. I much rather they use those picks to add depth to the secondary, particularly at CB.
