I would like to see what he could do with Rivers throwing to him. Would definitely be bettter than his LSU teammate Buster that we drafted a few picks after he went.

Stevie Johnson will be one of the most underrated pickups in this year's FA class. His stats went to when EJ Manuel took over. Big shocker. Then he got sent to one of the worst spots for him... a SF team QB'd be Kaep when they already had a plethora of possession type guys hogging snaps.

In other news, Vikes are expected to deal for Mike Wallace. I would imagine they're unloading Patterson

Yeah. Stevie is another guy that I think the Chargers should look at.

Vikings traded a 5th for Mike Wallace and a 7th.

So this offseason, they've traded Matt Cassel and a 6th for Mike Wallace and 2 7th's... pretty good. Not sure the fit is great, if Teddy has a flaw its his deep ball, and Wallace is a one trick pony. Natural fit for Norv, but not quite for Teddy. Will be interesting to see if Bridgewater can answer questions about his arm limitations.

mcfadden would be a good 3rd down/emergency back. we're getting gurley, gordon or tevin coleman
You really think we'd use our first rounder on a RB? Cause that's the only way we'd get Gordon or Gurley. I don't see it. Tevin might be an option if he's still there in the 2nd. There's some good RB's to be had later in the draft though, tbh. Wouldn't be surprised if we waited til rounds 3-5 to pick one up.

if gurley or gordon is there at 27 then the cowboys should take either one, they'd be the best player available at that point. if neither is there, then go defense(d line or linebacker) and look at coleman later.

Who would you prefer between gordon and Gurley?

initially i wanted gordon but lately i've been stuck on gurley. i know he's coming off an injury but before he got hurt, he was a lock for the heisman and reminds me of a faster eddie george. everything i've read so far points to him being a hundred percent by training camp.

    imagine this guy in dallas

outside of my top 3 of gurley, gordon and coleman i like jay aiyai from boise state, duke johnson from miami and javorius allen from southern california.

with all that said, we should stay put at 27 and not trade up to draft a rb. ever since stephen jones and will mcclay took over the draft, we've been good at staying put and drafting best available player. we cannot let will mcclay leave, pay that man whatever to keep him.

Same here. Liked Gordon all year but if we go RB, I'd take Gurley. He looks like a workhorse. Starting to think he won't be there though.

    from some articles on nfl.com

More from the overpriced department: A year after balking at Antonio Cromartie's one-year, $3.25 million price tag, the Jets reunited with the veteran cornerback on a mega contract reported to be worth $32 million over four years
    Jets
Paying Cro 8mil/yr after not wnating him for 3.25
    5.5/yr for Gilchrist

    LOSERS

Saints continuity: New Orleans isn't "blowing things up." They are still spending money, but dramatically changing their roster. It feels like a team acting out of emotion without a coherent plan. They gave Jimmy Graham big money, and thendeal him eight months later. They let Darren Sproles walk, and then sign C.J. Spiller for far more money. They are putting all their resources into solving their defense one offseason after believing their defense was in great shape.

Houston: Cutting Andre Johnson was tough for Texans fans to swallow. Watching him beat them at Lucas Oil Field as he finishes off his Hall of Fame career will be tougher. I liked the Rahim Mooresigning, but it's hard to get excited about a Ryan Mallett compe ion with Brian Hoyer.

Chicago Bears: Royal getting $10 million guaranteed was a head scratcher. And Pernell McPheecould be the latest Ravens defender to look a lot different away from Baltimore. It's also hard to get excited about a team that is so openly ambivalent about its starting quarterback.

Joe Philbin: As Dan Hanzus noted in this week's End Around, Philbin was con uous by his absence this week.

Anyone that wasn't on the internet last weekend: Free agency starts on Coughlin time now. Recognize.

Niners: The Rams got better with Nick Fairley, Nick Foles and more draft picks. The Seahawks gotJimmy Graham, while the Cardinals have quietly made some nice moves. The 49ers, meanwhile, watched a lot of Pro Bowlers walk out the door.

Dallas Cowboys: A lot of ex-Cowboys have made a lot of money in free agency, which should be considered an indirect compliment to Jason Garrett's program. The list of departures is large: Murray,Justin Durant, Bruce Carter, Jermey Parnell and Henry Melton. The list of arrivals is not pretty: Darren McFadden and Jed Collins.
This free agency period is far from over, but you know this is killing Jerry Jones to sit on the sideline.

not the most reliable of sources, but always good to hear something like this when the market is slow

Oakland raiders have no interest in Hardy and Davis is mad that his team is being used as leverage for a domestic abuser.

And for you guys it wouldn't matter that much if he is suspended for part of the first year since you aren't near contending yet.
