There has to be something going on here with Kelly wanting Bradford that he's not talking about. No way he can run that offense with Bradford, and I think Kelly is a genius.
they literally just cut Kendall Langord because they didn't want to pay for the depth. Langord's a good player. Now they go and sign Fairley. I'm confused.

Bradford is glass, but Foles is probably the most overrated QB in the NFL, tbh..
He's living off the 27 TD vs. 2 INT anomaly..IIRC, Pro Football Focus or another stats website showed that he threw the most interceptable balls of any QB in that season..
Worst case scenario is that Foles is a one year stop gap who is more reliable than Bradford and better than Shaun Hill, Austin Davis and Kellen Clemens(2013 backup).
Then there's the picks, and the huge amount of cap room freed up.
Unless Bradford stays healthy the next few years this trade is clearly a Rams win.
Not saying it isn't a Rams W or that the Rams don't get better, I'd rather have Foles than the unreliable Bradford, I just don't think Foles is as good as people think he is, tbh..
I gotcha. I don't know how good he is either(Foles). I guess as a Rams fan i'm just relieved that we aren't banking on Bradford anymore. IMO Sam can be a top 10 QB but he's snakebitten.
My biggest concern with Foles isn't how many yards or TD passes he throws...he can't come in here and make crucial ballbreaking mistakes in the 4th qtr that cost us games. That's what we got from those other backups here the last 2 years. ing tired of it. Our D comes out and lays a whippin on teams and our offense looks like they're gonna score just enough to win and BAM! Pick six, fumble, bad read by the QB and we lose by four points.
