I've broken both my ankles and sprained both multiple times. I've had sprains that hurt 100x more then when I broke them. Just thought Id share that. Anyway, from looking at it, I would be surprised if he was out any longer then 4 weeks and that's just because he's old. Westbrook would be out 1-2 weeks with that same sprain manu just experienced.

When I broke my ankle in High School my dad refused to take me to the doctor and said it's just a sprain...spent 3 days home from school. Yeah was broken lol
i have a similar story. I broke my collar bone in HS and my dad didn't take me to the doctor for a week saying the same thing happened to him when he was young and I would he fine. Yup...x-ray showed a clean snap right in the middle.

What worries me the most is the way he pulled up and grabbed it in mid air...Manu has sprained ankles many times and I don't think I have seen him react like that..

Yeah mine didn't swell up like you would think which made him think it wasn't a break....but I couldn't put ANY pressure on it and limped around my house for 3 days lol

If he's done for the year then this is a season. The Spurs need him to have a chance for back to back.

Good info. What's funny about ankles is that later sprains can hurt really ing bad even when they aren't that serious. As long as the word "high" isn't in it, I agree with your timeline.

If this is true, that's not bad at all. As I mentioned earlier, our schedule is pretty easy up for the next week.

I think I will wait for more news rather than Pop giving the standard answer. Though that is good if true. Obviously.

One guy is out 10 days max with a sprained ankle. Another guy misses a month with a sore asscheek. And then people wonder why Manu is SA's favorite son.

Yeah, because Pop would make a statement like that if he didn't know. lol If anything, Pop would make it sound worse.
