Both are young bigs who came out of no where and providing an enormous amount of value as a defensive anchor.

Who would you choose, and why?

Golbert didn't come out of no where, tbh. He was pretty hyped.

Hard to say but I will go with Golbert. Whiteside seems to have maturity problems at times

Golbert isn't a headcase and has a ton of potential. Whiteside's athletic but I doubt he'll ever be a consistent offensive force.

I would personally take Golbert at this point (see the Jazz subject and him first on the polls).

As mentioned by other posters, he seems to be more mature, less foul-prone, and is a better dirty work guy.

On the other hand, Whiteside seems more athletic, and seems to have a higher offensive upside (aside from horrendous FT shooting).

Gobert..ridiculous armspan, and looks like he is still filling out his frame. We should have had the bas , but instead got stuck w/ Livio.

Gobert all the way. Whiteside is american; euros have more mild mannered behaviour and learn faster.
