I don't give a about misset FTs in the regular season, even if it costs a game win. But is clear that Kawhi can't lead a team to a championship. He shall be the #2 or #3 in a contender, but not the #1, the star of the team.

On a nationally-televised game, they treated this like a rematch of a heavyweight le fight, with the greatest player in the world* in one corner, and our guy in the other. Our guy more than held his own. You better believe he looks like a max player to me.

Nervousness? I was nervous three years ago when they had Matt Bonner starting. Not sure why you'd want to go back to that. And you don't think Leonard can be a number 1 because he did the same thing Lebron James did two weeks ago. You probably want to see how he responds to it before you make that kind of judgment. But it's easy to pile on right after something bad happens. It's an 82 game season.

He was 1-4 with 3 turnovers and I think parker hit 2 shots over him during that same stretch.
Robinson and Duncan both had issues with FTs late.

Point is, you can't judge the ability to make a FT late as some basis of being a franchise player. Especially if you've been a Spurs fan for any good length of time.
KL's a kid. We'll see what he can do as a franchise player. He's a uva player, has tons of potential. But people need to pump the brakes and just enjoy.
