No ones questioning "fandom" or "fanhood" the point is that KL is an inconsistent and immature player, who in his fourth year still shows signs of being a scared 3rd or 4th fiddle. He cannot close games. Why would you max him out?
No Leonard will get the max.... he just shouldn't be penciled in as the future first option going forward. He's an all-NBA first team defensive player and a good third option. His offensive potential is still limited and he may never become a legitimate first option. Leonard still needs a lot of work on his ball handling, jump shot, and court vision. Spurs should look hard for someone who can replace Parker and Leonard as the alpha dog on offense.

I said he's not a max player in my opinion, but that's not how it works. It only takes one team to offer him the max, and there will be one. The Spurs will not want to leave empty handed, so they will match.

He is an almost max player and his stock is decreasing fast, at 23 years old he is already a FMVP there is no bigger accomplishment and still he is not producing like an All Star, should he? OF COURSE.
