He would do that if he has the brain of a chimp. Due to the new TV deal, a max contract in two seasons will be substantially higher than any time before. That's why there's a lot of chatter of free agents this summer opting to sign just for one year.

I'm a financial guy so by definition risk adverse so for me resigning asap would be a good choice other alternative I have the brain of a chimp which is also a possibility
