Kiwi was terrible in that series too. He recovered nicely against the Blazers though, but so did Tony, IIRC, despite being unable to close it out.
Combining the stats of 2 players, one which Parker rarely guarded, to discredit him
Kawhi's inability to guard a chucker, while not giving a on offense![]()

19.9 ppg on 51.5 TS% - Parker
17.7 ppg on 61.6 TS% - Manu
17.3 ppg on 60.8 TS% - Duncan
not sure we should be applauding Parker's performance when all he did was take more shots than Timmy and Manu. Like usual, TD and Ginobili had an efficient series(shot well above league average) while Enrique had an inefficient series(shooting well below league average)
In any case, the Spurs two best players against the Mavs were Manu and Tiago from what I remember. Parker only really played well in game 7
Combining their stats isn't misleading, they split minutes in key stretches depending on which player was having a better stretch..the problem was that they both had unreal efficiency..
Letting Monta Ellis do his volume scoring thing is fine, he's Monta Ellis, but allowing Calderon and a mediocre shooter in Harris to put up ridiculous efficiency is a different thing..
Anyways, Kawhi had a poor series, too..Manu and Splitter were by far the best players for the Spurs during that series..
Tony's +/- for the Finals was something like +41....but since the bench played well and Manu probably got +60...Tony doesn't count.
It's too bad that basketball is a team sport and the object of the game is to win games and Championships.
So according to the short bus.. Parker is responsible for Ellis, Calderon, and Harrishow did this dude put up nearly 20 a game while being assigned to 3 players at a time
it, let's just give this dude a pass for allowing Lebron, Durant, and Ellis to get theirs.. What an all time greatallowing a washed up Marion who can't shoot drop 20 on you... Smh
I didn't say anything about Ellis and Parker, butcomparing Durant and Lebron to guarding the worst player on the other team every series..
Anyways, I hope Parker has a good playoff run this year, tbh, I like the way he's been playing in the past 4 games, hopefully he keeps it up..
he dropped 30 twice, nice try bro. and i havent made anything up.
Kawhi haters getting on, the truth will prevail.
PS, This is the second time I've said this, but TGY is becoming a top five forum troll for the way he can keep guys like rob diaz burning with minimal effort. Gotta respect the game/
It happens constantly. Getting old, tbh. Dude wreck the best team in the East and haters still crying. Porker contributed a solid 8 points to the blowout.![]()
he isn't a troll. he's a cavs fan. this dude genuinely hates kawhi. don't be a ing idiot.
HAHA truth, Kawhi had a great game. Parker sometimes struggles. The earth moves in space. Everyone will die. So weird to see a Ron diaz meltdown and the efforts it takes to put that clown to sleep.
you mean me ting all over chump and thegreat ? sure.
exactly dude, seven pages of you trying to own a troll who is more clever than you and works less......that is bad, son! bad!.
You didn't need to start this thread. It has no point except to initiate trolling. And you lost.
still using FG%. Their efficiency was actually comparable.
51.5 TS% - Parker
50.8 TS% - Monta
Neither were really that good in that series.
You can't on people whose only point is to argue, and then claim victory after seven pages.
lol, nice alt got. exposing yourself. what a dumbass. And, yeah, I lost. uh huh.![]()
I always laugh when posters attribute guys like Calderon, Barnes, Jack, Harris, McCallum, the NY guy having monster games to the Spurs' 'bad luck'. There's a perfectly reasonable explanation for it all and it's name is Enrique defense.
are you part of the us military? dropping nukes like a boss, tbh.
lol 35 post meltdown in this thread alone.
don't forget irving dropping 57
solid 90k handi
