He's my most hated player to watch. Watching him play is equivalent to watching golf or Nascar. I just hope the Spurs don't play him in round 1 because the games will last a few hour due to all of the bs fouls he's going to get.
Without a doubt. Possibly the best individual (regular) season we've seen from an SG since Wade's '06 regular season.
22 FT's![]()
Kobe's 07-08 reg season was much better than Wade's.
yes he did. He had a couple of 10 plus fta seasons, and then in the playoffs averaged 14, and 13 a few times.
Playoff Harden is just such a joy to watch
The difference is Jordan had to be super-aggressive offensively to get double digit free throw attempts. The refs weren't nearly as friendly with the whistle back then. Harden takes an average of 18 shots a game. 7 of those 18 shots are three pointers and this dude is still gets to the line plenty.
In contrast Jordan barely shot any threes at all, attacked the rim mercilessly and had to put up 24-28 shots a game to average the amount of free throw attempts Harden is getting now![]()
And that's fine. The problem is people like to point out Harden would average less if you take away his free throws when that is true for any player. Can't blame Harden for the era he is playing in. I want to see him still compete hard when he isn't getting the calls.
I want to see him when he isn't getting the calls.
Still waiting...
Do you watch every game? Lol "still waiting."
Nope, Harden makes it impossible to watch Rockets games.
Three, iso, iso, FT, FT, three, iso, FT, FT...
That's Morey's fault more than it is McHale's. McHale is dumb and can't make adjustments or draw a play, so the entire offense is Iso, ISO, 3. Harden just happens to be good at it. If he wasn't, then McHale's coaching record would still be under .500
51 pts
8 rebounds
6 assists
Should win but Curry will. Still shouldn't have to depend on one guy every night because of dumbass McHale and Fat Elvis.
Its close djohn. Harden has done more overall since he's played more minutes and a higher usage, but Curry has been more efficient and he's not that far behind in win shares despite playing over 200 less minutes than Harden. Curry has way more help too which is a big reason why the Warriors record is so much better. Really can't go wrong either way. Harden probably deserves MVP while Curry has been the best player in the league.
Playoffs are coming up soon, tbh.
He's been unreal carrying this team to a high seed in the West. Really little help whatsoever. Definitely a MVP performer this season.
harden or curry for mvp is a fkn joke when both will be gone 2nd round
Harden should win it. Dragging that Houston team into the Western Conference playoffs at the #3 seed and possibly even the #2 seed in the loaded West and without Dwight most of the season is nothing short of remarkable, tbh..
Curry's been great all year, but he's had a lot more help, and his number's have actual gone down a little bit since the All-Star break. Think he still wins it, though.
^ That's how Harden will be spending his time while real players are busy playing past the first round of the playoffs.
Yeah for sure. At this point it's going to be tough to finish top 4. Spurs or Clippers will catch them, possibly both with the schedule the Rockets have.
As someone who doesn't like Harden that much, the dude has brought it on both ends this year. He would get my MVP vote.![]()
ESPN: "Curry is the MVP, he broke CP3's ankles!...
Harden and Westbrook shouldn't be rewarded for their teammates getting injured.." ..![]()
