Will the dumbass that thinks this team can go deep in the playoffs without a productive Parker please stand up? Do people honestly think this team can compete with Cojo or Mills as the starting PG?

There is so little point in posting here now. It's been the same old saw' all season. This team lacks focus and rhythym. The reality is that TP spoiled the team the last couple years and could carry them for stretches in the regular season. Last year when he was hurting, Mills saved the day and carried them for many games. Even Beli took a turn.

But guys are not stepping up and showing the same drive this year. Diaw flat-out sucks except when he wakes up (4th quarter Atlanta game). TP can't solve the turnover issue, and looks different from night to night. Kawhi is not consistent on offense yet. TD is even slower laterally than last year. And his post-ups are at an all-time low.

Green gets lost on defense too much. TP gets caught on too many screens. Splitter is a bright spot but that is only a recent development. Patty can't shoot much yet. Watching these guys spot Ellis every jumper he wanted was painful.

If you want to go by the eye test/casual fan way of evaluating games, then why did the Spurs win 3 game clinching series without contribution by Parker? Game 5 Blazers, Game 6 OKC, game 5 Heat. If that's not enough, then go to bball-reference and look at Parker's advanced metrics in the playoffs.
