Meaningless games played by the league's best players.
Preseason games are "played by the league's best players" too, should those count in the standings with the stats counting towards their totals?

A game that has featured players by the likes of Mo Williams, Chris Kaman, Gerald Wallace, Jamaal Magloire to name a few.

I'm sure he's really upset about not making it. Probably cried into his Finals MVP trophy and ring during the All-Star Break.

...and also all the the greatest players to have ever played the game.

As much as I hate Pop...he does have the guts to bench Parker when he really needs to..

The problem is that Mills the alternative is not hitting his shots right now...

The spurs might have to change their overall offensive philosophy if Parker is going to be the starting PG for the next three years.

But Tony didn't have to cry into his because he was an All-Star as well.

Yah because we wouldn't want to continue getting better every season and winning championships.

And also because the rent was up on that FMVP and Boobie made him give it back.

Well, sweetheart we actually don't care about them. We care about winning in June with Kawhi but we understand if you're pushing the Tony Allstar game angle since he's always AWOL past april.
Oh Parker's won in June 4 times. Remind me how many times Kawhi has.

Pop benched his ass tonight, twice, IIRC... there's nothing else to do. You gotta hope he shakes off whatever funk he was on tonight and tomorrow has a better game. It doesn't help that Patty isn't hitting and that Manu is coming back from and injury.

Heck, I'm not even worried about a loss tomorrow... I'm more concerned in seeing Tony take a few steps forward again, after taking a step back tonight.

Lebron probably wanted it, tbh. But as we know Parker outplayed him.

Seriously, though, bragging about All-Star Games. I personally hope that no Clippers players ever get voted into one of those fests ever again or selected by the coaches. I'd rather they all rest up during that week while all the other West teams' players risk injuries. I'm sure most non-re ed Spurs fans feel the same way about the Spurs' players.

Hey that's fine. If coaches voting for who the best players in the league are means nothing, then that's cool. Of course it wouldn't be my only argument for Tony. That's why I mentioned his MVP races and FMVP and his scoring and assists and also used quotes from players and coaches about his importance to the team. I mean if you had a FMVP that wasn't even an All-Star player, then obviously that's out of the ordinary. Tony's resume doesn't have that problem of course. It's not a main argument, just one of many.

Hey you don't have to worry about that. Chris Paul will make plenty of All-Star games.

Yep. Kawhi even chose to sit out of summer basketball to rest for the upcoming season. The statpadder otoh has to be begged to sit out and only does when he's "injured."
