Atlas picks Manny to win, he simply suggests Manny was on the sauce for years.
@ Pacman fans...tried to tell yall....sorry Freddie Roach but ummm you lose this debate..if Teddy is saying it...I'm inclined to believe it....dude was juicing like a mutha a...
"If you really, honestly break it down, Floyd's a defensive specialist,” Atlas told Boxing Channel's Marcos Villegas. "He doesn't make the greatest fights. He makes big money, but he doesn't always make the greatest fights. And Pacquiao used to make them, but he's a different guy. He's more of a boxer now than a seek-and-destroy guy that he was six years ago. And he's not as big, he's not as powerful as he was six years ago. I don't know why, you'd have to figure that out."
It's not the first time Atlas has made a veiled comment regarding Pacquiao and the notion that his ascension to welterweight supremacy in 2009 -- when he defeated Miguel Cotto by 12th-round stoppage -- was powered by more than just conditioning and skill.
In fact, he tossed out the idea on ESPN's air this month that Mayweather might have avoided the fight for years because of a substance concern.
But no matter how often he says it, the song remains the same to Pacquiao trainer Freddie Roach.
"It's a free country," Roach told CBSSports.com. "Teddy has the right to be wrong. It's a right he exercises a lot."
Roachman pissed...

Ok Here's what I will do for you since i already got 5500 on the fight....500 of it is against RX shrimp..i offered RX shrimp another 200 bet yesterday but since he didnt respond..i will stick to the 500 bet we have and in turn will offer you the other 200 from my Kobe shoe box in my closet....Luva has to moderate the bet....put up or shut up....
I'll say it's interesting that some boxing experts some good ones (atlas, Dan Rafael) and some ty ones (holyfield/TysonSkip LOL) are picking Manny. I was worried fight not be as good as I hoped but maybe this type of will elevate the event. I do know Floyd is hearing this so maybe he will wanna bust Pac's ass.
Dodging, ducking and running does not translate to busting someones ass

You have to be a sorry to keep posting boxing in a basketball forum...lol Lakers...![]()
I am a sorry and unashamedly so....
tbf I wouldn't be surprised if it's prevalent in boxing. Wasn't Mosley busted for steroid use? You also have guys like Hopkins/Mayweather who were/are dominant into their mid-late 30s. Even JM Marquez who I always thought was just a dedicated dude (lol drinking his own piss) started getting body acne.
^^ It's prevalent in every sport, tbh..
The NBA and soccer(excluding Messi, a known cheater) probably have the least abuse, since it isn't as essential as other sports, but any fighting sport(UFC, boxing) or power sport(like hitting in baseball or most NFL positions), and obviously most of the Olympic sports are full of PED usage, and rightfully so, you do whatever it takes to make it an even playing field..
Honestly, the only way that high-profile, extremely rich players get caught:
- Somebody is targeting them, like ARod, etc..once the MLB steroid scandal reached it's apex, everybody was a target, especially hated players like Arod..
- Snitches, obviously..distributors get busted, they release their client lists, etc
- They are washed up..Anderson Silva, this year, for example..he's finished, he's old, he can't market himself due to limited English, his only use to the UFC was his fighting ability..releasing the information that he was busted for PEDs gives the perception of transparency to your sport, fans will think, "wow, even a big name like Silva got caught, I guess nobody can get away with it"
Boxing is arguably the most corrupt sport in America, they desperately need a Pacquiao/Mayweather fight, a ton of people are going to make a lot of money from this fight..they could both abuse PEDs, they can both throw accusations at each other, but there's a 0.0000001% chance that either guy will ever "officially" get caught for it..
Maybe the difference is he's 36 and not 30 anymore...
