I wasn't able to visit the board last night, but was there a meltdown following the Dallas loss? Even me, the noted "Gutless Worms" bumper wasn't too pissed off, since playing Dallas in Dallas is always a tough, tough match up. Pretty much expected the loss and didn't think it signified much of anything about the current state of the Spurs.

I hope this destruction of OKC (admittedly banged up, but still playing well) settled everyone's confidence. Not calling repeat yet, but the Spurs are definitely back, and still on, track.
Not to mention it was probably the most important game of the season for Dallas after Carlisle called them out after the PHX loss tbh.

It does alot for me . Westbrook and OKC forever..
for sure. I'm thinking in terms of turning the corner. OKC is just a really bad team right now.

    Parker annihilated Westbrook IMO.

Offensiely he was orchestrating, scoring and had no problem with Westbrooks athleticism/size.

Defensively, he did well to deny Westbrook making contact on his out of control drives which led to horrific shots and awful turnovers.

Good for Ayres. Dude has made improvements imo.
Small sample size but any improvement for him is an improvement I guess in reality.

Current OKC is just a sad team. This win doesn't mean much other than the Spurs potentially moving up in the standings.
They have actually been compe ive and winning without Durant. Westbrook needs to be triple double man and near flawless though.

Probably leads them in misses too. And dollars per missed game by a light year or so.

If the Spurs can shut down Westbrook, who's been on an absolute tear recently, they better be able to shut down Ellis on Friday...
I find I amazing how the Spurs are often able to shut down a player who is on a hot streak but also let players who are in some of the worst shooting slumps of their career score 38 points against you ...

Ellis ain't going off like that tomorrow night. Spurs win the rematch by double digits. Book it.

That game being a home game definitely helps but Ellis always gives the Spurs problems ... he will score 20+
